Theo

Post by chunkyandy »

After what was a pretty mediocre display on Saturday, i thought the one good point of the match was i thought Theo played a blinder. At last i think he realises he deserves to be there and doesnt feel out of place with all the ''big names'' around him...any one agree?

I wouldnt say he played a blinder mate. I thought his touch and final ball was pretty poor throughout.

Although credit to him for not hiding and continuing to look for the ball when others seemed to be shying away.

Nah, I am with you on this one mate. Is two probs I think (a) as you say confidence but also (b) he just can't play right side of midfield. Thought he played really well until Bendtner came on and Theo moved back to midfield then was fairly anon.

More games upfront and we will see the reason Arsene committed 12mill on him.

Ihave been a critic of Theo but he has played well the last two games. But what is it going to do to his confidence if once again he is dropped for a big game.He did more in one minute on the pitch v Milan than Eboue did in 89.

i think the biggest thing that will affect theo is to put on some weight, i dont mean rooney style but he needs more about him

and needs to learn pace is not everything

I thought he faded out as the match went on. Good first half though, and a good display at brum. I'm not going to get carried away on 2 hours of good performance, but it's looking promising. Lets just hope it's not just a little flash in the pan and he can carry it on into the next few games

Not necessarily a blinder, but certainly he played better than he has been. I was really encouraged by him on Saturday.

I agree with you, he did well but not a "blinder". I think he should get more chances through the middle rather than on the wing.

Agree Rilo he always fades unless he scores!

Far too relaint on confidence, needs to motivate his ass! As soon as he scores he looks world class for next 15 mins, if he doesnt do anything for 15-20 mins then thats it for the rest of the game! He started brilliantly against Villa, then had some shots saved, lost a tackle or two then seemed to just wilt away!
