1. Any Arsenal manager that says he's 'taking second place for the next twenty years' needs to sling his hook. [agreed, but in fairness I think Wenger was defending the fact that we were, at the time, 2nd in the league ahead of Chelsea, Liverpool and Citeh yet STILL being criticised]

2. No trophies in almost seven years [true, but the league and CL are very difficult to win, and there's no shame in not winning those competitions. Where Wenger shot himself in the foot is by completely ignoring the domestic cups which, if we'd won, would have given him a little more breathing space. That's why he now takes them a bit more seriously, I suppose - but, for many, it's too little too late]

3. A salary equivalent of over £40 million has been banked by him since then. [I've no interest in his wages, but it's going to be criticised when he doesn't deliver]

4. The pathetic inability to release players who don't make the grade. [Amen!]

5. The complete lack of tactical acumen [can't disagree... tactically, we're abysmal!]

6. Incompetence in the transfer market. He's a dinosaur. Only willing to sign any French/African players from Ligue 1. We are an English club, not a French club. [don't care about nationality, just quality... and that ain't up to scratch - that's what matters!]
