Goetze saga

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I like him, hope he don't do a Diarra, prefer him to Song, maybe he can see what we see.

Actually a Scotsman in Scotland Percy

Have a season ticket in Dortmund since 2007 after working at the Uni there, and fly over for every home game (and a few away ones). The game against Arsenal is the very first Ive been able to drive to :barscarf:

Just in case anyone was wondering, think we can finally put the Goetze rumours to bed:

Will be in Dortmund for another couple of years. Kagawa, on the other hand, will be off at the end of the season. Can see him going to Arsenal.

You cant put something to bed based on media reports...German media is as bad as English media...

Goetze will be an Arsenal player soon....

Nothing is as bad as English media!

Besides, these are quotes reported elsewhere from his agent (I know, not the most trustworthy source).

Kagawa will most likely be at Arsenal or Man Utd at end of this season. Goetze will be at Barca or Real in a couple of years. Thats the way I see it anyways.

Give me one reason why Mario Götze should play for Arsenal?
I don't see that happen and I does not matter how many links to third class web sides you are posting. I think these rumors have a lot to do with the clash on Wednesday, to put some disturbance into the squad.
Götze has a contract and he will play this season for Borussia, he will probably score on Wednesday, like he scored yesterday against Bayern. If he leaves he will do so after the Euro 2012 and then he will go to a big money spender club and please don't take it personal but this will not be Arsenal.

BYW,
Thomas

To be fair Thomas he has been linked with Arsenal - certainly in the British press - since the summer and not just because of the CL draw.
