Alan Smith!!! What a legend! Every was having a right old sing and then his appearance- I swear he got mobbed!!

He is beginning to really get on my tits and appears a right fcuking wanker when he is commentating on our games  Some fans have defended him on the basis of him trying too hard to appear neutral but bollox to that excuse.....call the game honestly and when the ball hits our player's leg and then bounces up to his his arm then say it openly that by the rules of the game it couldnt have been a handball instead of your bullshit nicey nicey crap  For me he is as lazy and cliched a journalist as the rest of the journo c**ts
So because you don't agree with some of the things he says in his commentating, he i snow no longer a club legend/hero?

I dont agree with everything Ian Wright writes or what Merson dribbles on soccer saturday, still got hero status with me.

Nice to meet Franksav and Flash. Great day :barscarf:

don't get too excited, we beat a conference team at best:

Ruddy played one game for Everton in 2005 as a sub keeper, Morison who made Mertersacker look shit, plied his trade at Millwall, Johnson who was an arsenal reject and 1/2 dozen ex wycombe players

???

At first I thought you were being sarcastic in response to some WUM tool saying Norwich are a Conference level team... but then you go on to justify that comment by mentioning their history at reserve/lower league clubs.

So, your post really confuses me.

Now, for anyone who think Norwich are conference level, can I throw something out there please...

Now, call me a nutter if you like, but surely the fact Norwich are 11th in the Premier League would suggest to anyone with an ounce of sanity that Norwich are in fact far far above conference level.

No? :?

bloody hell, pass me the syringe

norwich will comfortably stay up this season, pilkington, bennett, morrison and holt are very talented players, they play atrractive football and have been impressive so far. I reckon a top 12 finish

Calm down chap, If thats the case of our boys then John Terry is making every 2 bob striker in the Prem look like Pele!!!
3 points, lets all move on..

Ps. Had a giggle on the train out of Liverpool St yesterday, as we went past the Olympic stadium the train announcer was advising our carriage about the service with a background vocal of "Fuck off to Stratford, North London is ours!!!" from the travelling gooners .Genius. :D :D :D

Gervinho reminds me of Adebarndoor.

Needs 4/5 good chances before he scores.

What I do like about him is that he isn't scared to run at defenders, which can cause them problems, for too long we have tried to pass our way through with no plan B.

  just stating a fact, i think it says more about the PL, then it does Norwich

maybe they will finish in the top 12 - but still have players who have played at lower league and conference level

sounds familiar to our squad

bloke has been a decent winger and looks could attacking defenders, but is shit infront of goal - had many chances recently and fucked them all up

I think its his confidence, he can score goals at least but importantly he provide assists.
I know its the French league, but he was Lille's highest goal scorer and highest assist.
He took one instinctive powerfull shot against West Brom, albeit off side, but it does suggest he'll be alright.
He is getting into scoring positions, which is important..
With time he will come good.

And wasnt chamakh top scorer in ligue 1 when bordeaux won their league the season before he signed for us ? Correct me if I am wrong but being top scorer with 15 goals hardly suggests prolific striker does it ?

Another good day at the office, another good win, RvP is simply world class. Glad to see Wenger coming out and rubbishing more rumours that the Arsenal-hating media in this country love to pounce on. Anthing to take the gloss off our recent performances and neg us out. Well stuff you lot. Wenger is commited to Arsenal - end of. Glad to see Theo forcing more humble pie down the throats of his critics as well. Let the good times roll and the good results continue
