Beware the Germans are coming

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

well mate, it's not our fault you were born in fucking GERMANY!

(don't you worry mate, as a foreigner myself i can tell you the people in this forum know no boundaries for piss taking, even with stuff like your nationality - just chill, it's how the place works)

in which case you should be very calm and remind them that people like us, the german and the brazilians, are the ones who can actually put a squad together and win some world cups, while they created the fucking sport but are clueless in it :barscarf: :barscarf:
Wasnt going to go down this road but lets discuss how many world wars you Brazilians and Germans have won :barscarf:

Joke lads

speaking about that, i gotta say you beat the argentinians in a much funnier way than we brazilians are used to
What are the brazilians like with beach towels on sun loungers?
what the fuck is a sun lounger mate?

what we have here are beaches, it's this place with a lot of sand and ocean. you just lie in the sand and watch the boobies and arses passing by.

does that answer your question?

since when is it arrogant to kindly ask if it may be possible to wear a black & yellow jersey? damn the reason why:

- your ticket prices are that high
- the stewards can be contacted by sms
- permanent standing is forbidden

is YOU

you know what? i'm so freaking happy that football in germany is waaaay different! be proud of your none existing atmosphere and all the rules that take everything what makes watching a game in the stadium enjoyable!

and don't think that our fans in your home sections will be silent...what you gonna do? remove whole blocks?

the whole discussion is ridiculous! fuck the krauts? well, at least we got something called fan culture
Careful mate its all been friendly so far regarding our fixture against you lot. Very few of us have anything against you or your fellow Dortmund fans. Dont come on an Arsenal site giving out shit against the regulars and the same goes in the stadium. I dont think thats too much to ask, is it?

:blah:

The fact is that you bought thousands of tickets meant for home fans. Now you have home end tickets, the least you can do is respect the home fans who will be sat next to you. Schwarzgelb is basically a long tirade, slagging off our Club. You should be glad that Arsenal didn't simply turn you all away at the turnstiles. You have been lucky that the Club was sensible and moved you all into one block.

Don't come onto an Arsenal site and give me shit. I don't agree with the way football is in England, but it doesn't mean I'm happy mixing with away fans in the home ends. It is the equivalent of me turning up on your Kop in an Arsenal shirt, singing my heart out after 10 pints of Stella. Respect us, because we already respect you.
ok so then tell me why the tickets have gone in the general sale? i've heard this is not happening that often. and don't twist things around! never said that i don't respect arsenal for what you've done. when you was reading on schwatzgelb.de you must have read how thankful all the people are. that's not the point! it's just the way some of you guys talk about it. the way you talk about it - about the germans. that really pisses me off man! and don't blame us for buying your tickets. blame your fans for not buying them!
Listen to what I am saying. Now you have the tickets, I don't have an issue with it. However, I have an issue with colours in the home areas. It is not ideal, but this is how it is in England. Believe me, in the past in the UCL, Arsenal have taken thousands of fans to the home areas (Real Madrid 2006, Paris Final in 2006 etc.) However, we didn't wear colours. It is all about respect. Go and re-read SchwarzGelb, because there are dozens of posters ridiculing our Club. I think you've been very lucky to keep the tickets. General Sale is fine, but the condition is to not wear away colours. The rules are the rules.

Just chill out, or go back to Schwarzgelb.
so every block besides the away block is an arsenal home block? i didn't know that! thought that this are "neutral" blocks like in germany. ok i get your point! just to clarify: i really agree with you that it's your stadium and our fans should play by your rules. it's okay and when its written in the conditions everybody should remember that.
No probs mate you just didnt understand

Neutral blocks are not normal in England and we definately dont have them at Arsenal. Enjoy the game but hope you get beaten 5-0 :D

In England there are no neutral areas. We have only the away blocks and the home blocks. The only Premier League team to have a neutral area is Fulham FC.

No hard feelings. It is easy to be confused by different arrangements in different countries. Have a great stay in London. I have been to Germany several times and seen a few games (Stuttgart, Hanover, Berlin). The atmosphere is certainly a lot more relaxed in Germany and we should take some tips.

thanks! yeah hope its gonna be a good trip! been in london several times but not at the emirates! hope we all see a good game! matter of fact my first english football game

There's nothing to worry about. The Germans are our friends now and the War was a long time ago. Its quite a poignant moment for me to post this as my Grandfather died in a Concentration camp,he fell out the machine gun tower, daft sod, right at the end to,had his travel doc's to Brazil in his uniform pocket ready to go ! Only joking guys.....they where in his billet !

Sorry if this has been mentioned before (16 page thread a lot to go through). Has anyone heard about people who bought tickets being moved (especially in blocks 116-119)? One of the dortmund forums has been talking about it but I wasn't aware of it; my ticket's in block 27 though so hopefully not a problem....

All fans who booked tickets in General Sale with a German address have been moved to blocks 116-119.

German Fans who booked with a Red Membership were not moved. I know some German expats living in Luxembourg & Switzerland and they weren't moved either.

This all sounds like a recipe for disaster, what if a boisterous Dortmund fan in an Arsenal block makes Tarquin spills his hotdog? He'll be bloody furious and have no option but to text a steward.

Or imagine if a Dortmund fans gets over exited and keeps standing up, getting in the way of a Japenese tourist's camara shots?
