Tony Adams resigns from FC Gabala

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

BRADY

Post by Herd »

Brady was hopeless at Celtic and Brighton and Merson the same at Walsall et etc.

I loved Brady at Celtic,he bought Martin "Zico" Hayes for 650,000 quid !

TA made a mistake going to Gabala ,poor Tony thought it was an ancient Jewish religious sect !

Give hime a break.

He left for family reasons. I mean his wife and kids are obviously pissed off being stuck in the middle of nowhere on their own. A case of if he don't leave with the family he wont have one.

Besides with the standard of player he must be working most managers would struggle.

Would take him at Arsenal tomorow as a coach.

As a coach, he did well at Pompey. I'ld take him back in an instance to work with the defence.

I just don't think he has made wise choices in the clubs he has managed. Evidence of his coaching ability was seen at Portsmouth. It's the only major trophy Redknapp has won...ever!!!

He could do a Rijkaard be crap at a crap club but be great at a great club. We won't know till he is given a chance at a big club.
