I know what you're saying augie, it wasn't a stunning performance but he looked threatening when on the ball imo and this eyar that's been a common theme for Theo. His assists to RVP have been great and he's becoming more of a goal threat.

Plus he tracks back very well, and works hard at that side of his game.

Still work to do, as I said he can be frustrating at times, but he's establishing himself as first choice and a real danger.

I have stuck to my guns and will continue to do it: Arsenal will win fuck all this season and that is all that counts.

If I am wrong I will eat your excrement.
And if you think a couple of wins against Norwich, WBA, Swansea, Bolton and Shrewsbury have brought me around then think again...
not just a couple of wins though is it?
11 out of 13.

I actually respect you for sticking to your guns though.
I will do likewise.

I'm not surprised that the team switched off, it was fucking embarrassing the amount of people leaving the ground at that point.

ok leave at the final whistle but 5, 10 minutes to go? Hardly great support is it?

in fact the whole evening was an embarrasment, I felt like I was in Germany most of the time. Our support at the Emirates is PATHETIC
I don't often agree with you but I was also embarassed by our support last night, it was just unbearable where I was.

A new low was hit last night at The Emirshites, fuckin disgraceful support by us complete and utter muppetts whilst being totally embarrassed by the away support!
Won the group with a game to spare and the fuckin place was half empty at the end, if i was one of the players i would think fuck u lot, i dont owe you anything! we moan about players not showing loyalty then we behave like that all to get home 15 mins early u fuckin cretins!
The best thing is as u are walking out people start singing "red army" outside??? why the fuck didnt you do that inside you pricks, no use doing it now!
Been going to The Arse for 36 years, not often im embarrassed to be a gooner but it was shocking what happened last night! were a fuckin laughing stock and rightly so!

^True, the Germans really showed us up. I wasn't a bit surprised though.

i feel so sorry for people who can't enjoy a good victory from their team. those were the german champions there...

i was delighted with the win yesterday, and i'm still buzzing.

if we were only 10% as good domestically as we are in europe... :(

doesnt matter how flawed u think our manager/team/players are at the minute we as fans need to look at how flawed and downright shit we as fans are at the minute!
And before anyone says "yes but our away support is great" i know it is, im talking about at our so called home!!!

I agree mate. Even in the so called REDaction section more often than not me and a few others are the only ones singing. If people cant chant there where its all standing then the ground has no chance.

Most chants we try to start get laughed at , even though they were song the previous week all game long at an away game.

People turn around and say things like “come on mate that’s abit shitâ€

Asked it last night without response

How did the Germans get in with drums? Giving that we don't have any, I've always assumed it was banned. Drums are the core of all great home support and would be hugley beneficial to our non-existent home atmosphere

Thumbs up to the above poster btw (mikeyxyowkjkw:lol:) He don't shy away from a good auld chant :barscarf:

I know someone who brought a drum a couple of years back and nearly had his head kicked in because of it! Fans round him didn't much appreciate it's noise.

There is a cultural difference between English & European fans. We don't organise ourselves in the same way, or at all really!

I think a standing section would definitely help our atmosphere.

I think cheaper tickets would also attract a more passionate crowd, with ticket prices so high people expect to be entertained rather than be part of a shared experience.

I'm 95% sure drums are not banned. The thing is, in England they're generally used in a monotonous, moronic kinda way. Some annoying as fuck incessant banging, rather than as a basis for songs. Think of that twat with the drum at Wigan.

I find the whole culture of support thing really interesting. I'm tempted to put some thoughts down on why English support is so shit, would probably run to thousands of words though lol.

Victoria line was fucked as well last night, probably a few struggled to get down.

The fact is, the group games don't mean a lot to most fans. Its a case of getting through and then the big games begin. Not saying that's right, but its the way it is.

In an odd quirk I gave my ST's to a friend and his son, so was in the West Upper yesterday and there was a pretty good atmosphere up in the section I was. That's whats become of us!

Most definitely, although I don't see it happening any time soon.

The Irish international team has unbelievable support, especially at home, which is large thanks to YBIG's interaction with the FAI. 1000+ standing/singing section has been designated in the stadium along with flags and drums worked in a co-ordinated fashion.

Being a club who is dominate in terms of fan numbers right across the world, we should be setting the bar for other teams in the Premier League to get onto a level with that of the European clubs.

There's a definite urge for it, or actually is there?
