I am a man who yearns for days gone by when we had quality players, quality leaders and a team with real passion for the club but I really just cant get my head around or understand this hoopla about the building/erecting of 3 fcuking statues especially in the middle of a season Surely if the club has decided to do this then the time to unveil these statues is at the start of a season at a time of optimism and where the focus is totally on them ? I know that I am a miserable cynical old bastard but so far this season we have christened two bridges after ex board members and now we are unveiling 3 statues and I cant help the feeling that the club is doing everything to distract attention from our problems
