Legends Statues

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

At least one is bound to be of PHW surely? That poor sod didn't even get a bridge named after him! The other two will probably be Stan Kroenke & Sir Chips Keswick I guess. Tally ho!

Inamoto and Park for all the club merchandise sold in the Far East...and a token steward statue for their contribution to stadium security. No one enjoys the athmopsphere as a result of the work of these dilligent people.

I think the statues will be of the 3 biggest Arsene fans: Red Member, Louder and Brazilian Gooner.

A fucking joke this is, unbelievable. But then what could you expect from that fucking c**t Hill-Wood? For seven years we've been the joke of the premier league and what do we do about it? Award Mr Wenger the fucking c**t with a statue! I wonder if it's to celebrate the 8-2 against United? Or maybe for giving contracts to the likes of Arteta and Gervinho, those fucking useless footballers who can't pass the ball 5 yards ahead.

As long as there are stupid ignorant fans like glory-hunter-favela-living brazilianGOONER we're fucked and we'll be relegated this season, if I'm wrong you can all fuck me in the ass. If we don't, you can do it too, just to prove how right I am.

Next thing we're doing is giving that fucking piece of shit koscielny a new contract, he's hardly a tony adams is he? i mean, i bet he can't have half as many pints, and I'm sure he'll never be as good as Maldini and Baresi either, so why the fucking GIC insists on playing that fucking piece of motherfucking shit??

No, but let's build a statue just because he helped a bit with the construction of the fucking soulless bowl, the worst atmosphere in the world, you fucking prick
Spot on. Manure didn't give Ferguscum an honour until recently and that's after a load of league titles, two European cups and a bunch of other trophies. We'll give Wenger one- probably sponsored by Netto- for his services to saving money.

It could be worse, we could have got a Michael Jackson statue!

Adams and Chapman I think are certainties and rightly so...I think it's a risk putting a Wenger one up before he leaves. Henry, Bergkamp or Rocastle should be the other one.

for me.

A Wenger statue could turn into a flashpoint for trouble in the future...

I was going to say this; if it is of Wenger or PHW, it would be vandalised within a month.

I am a man who yearns for days gone by when we had quality players, quality leaders and a team with real passion for the club but I really just cant get my head around or understand this hoopla about the building/erecting of 3 fcuking statues especially in the middle of a season :? Surely if the club has decided to do this then the time to unveil these statues is at the start of a season at a time of optimism and where the focus is totally on them ? I know that I am a miserable cynical old bastard but so far this season we have christened two bridges after ex board members and now we are unveiling 3 statues and I cant help the feeling that the club is doing everything to distract attention from our problems
