Beware the Germans are coming

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Hehe, well, most real gooners were inthe pubs then! I remember a few years back at the stadium of light we had a good laugh with some gooners singing the modified version of simply the best in the Londonderry in Sunderland, we then found out almost none of them had tickets, were just there for the craic, quality!

Aye, priced out or often just bored out of going! But always welcome up Sunderland. Talking of which, February, get yerself up mate, I'll give you the tour, can even go in arsenal colours if you fancy, won't get any bother in Sunderland, plus you'll win :-(
Get yerself up!

Mackem, we are doing an overnighter for this game, providing Sky don't fuck the plans up. Tips on places to visit & houses of ill-repute please?

Book into Sunderland central travelodge (fuck staying in Newcastle). Match day have a pint next door in establishment, then next door again to the worm, then up the road to brogans. Pint there then into privilege for a bit minge (bar with singing, strippers and lap dancers). Then go somewhere Luke fitzies for a proper drink, off to the match, probably win cos we're shit, back across bridge and go Londonderry and fitzies again, then later go to the little black book (lap dancers, fairly central), then onto Arizona for a dance, then ttonic, up to pulse, finish in the glass spider (where a few of our players go, open til 6am), then stagger back to the travelodge. You'll have a mint time and if people know you're gooners you'll be well looked after, especially in the strippers!
Let me know when you're down, will need to get a pint (maybe in corner flag, another fairly central pub), I'll be with me mate who supports arsenal and a good number of Sunderland lads, could be a laugh

Made my night...a bloke from Sunderland who was not in the stadium (and why should a SunGuy be? - is that some English cross over thing which we Germans don't get?) is typing a song in the internet and is telling the Arsenal supporters that their best supporters have been sinnging in the pubs while the team was winning on the pitch and loosing on the stands and streets that day, fantastic!
