Alex Oxlade Chamberlain
Surely this guy should be looking at a promotion to the bench at the least?
Hes the only one that seems to have any sort of direct threat. Fast, skillful on the ball, not afraid to take on his man and crucially- not afraid to have a shot!!!!
After tonights showing and his impressive form to date I reckon he deserves a bit more game time.
I mean he could be a much better option to bring on than Arshavin in tight matches.

Good going forward, powerful and a strong shot.
I would be happy to see him on the first team bench.
But he is long way from the finished article, and has still to learn about tracking back and some positioning.
Comparisons with Walcott are not straightforward, whilst they sometimes play in the same position, they are a different style of player.

To be fair it's only recently that theo has been good on the defensive side and he's been given plenty of games to 'learn the ropes' as has Denilson, Song and Diaby so why not Chamberlin?QuartzGooner wrote:Good going forward, powerful and a strong shot.

Yes he is.But he is doing stuff Walcott could only dream of doing and Walcott has been 6 years at the club.Given a run he will overtake Walcott within a yearQuartzGooner wrote:Good going forward, powerful and a strong shot.
