Take back the game

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Take back the game

Post by jedrow »

Are we all aware of the campaign Take Back The Game protesting about the huge sum of money we all have to pay to watch our teams and how much we are being ripped off .I for one think it is a great idea. They are planning a 10min silence at the start of game between Wolves v Sunderland live on sky.show your support for this by following them on Facebook and twitter as it is starting to grow with many teams fans wanting to do the same at some matches.I also think us ARSENAL fans should do something the same to show our board just what we think of prices and the 6% rise .we could do a 6 min silence starting at the 6 min or maybe even better sing 6 percent you having a laugh for 6 mins starting at the 6min .What do you think join together and let these pricks on the board of our club and others really know how we feel

Would it work though? We usually have a 6 minute silence after the 6th minute anyway.

It's around that time the entire songbook has already been raced through... :barscarf:

It wont happen- whilst Darren fucking Bent is getting 8 touches a half in a defeat, we're appointing martin O'Neill. Sorry, i appreciate the ideas behind the protest, but we've just made a major appointment and our lads need support to get up the table- having Elisha Cuthbert sitting her beautiful pert arsehole right on our fans faces couldnt keep us quiet tomorrow, circumstances have made it the wrong game, completely the wrong game, we'll be noisy

The "silence" for the first ten minutes didn't sound like silence to me.

Yes, funnily enough. The Silence was in fact first heard making a sound a few days ago, laughing at the Noise's new Raul Meireles tribute barnet!
