It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

I need some help from those with more London Knowledge than myself for a random Christmas present.
My Dad used to drink in a pub called The City Pipe in The City. Somewhere around that area there used to be a Cheesemongers which he used to roll into pissed up. So my question is, does anyone know the area and where it may be if it still exists???
All help much appreciated

I know where the City Pipe is, by St. Paul's Cathedral.
My old man used to work about a block away, may not have been the right time period but I'll ask him.

"Cheesemonger" means something entirely different in Dublin!

On another note has anyone ever been to/taken a tour of the Whole Foods cheese section? It's pretty amazing the conditions they keep em in and the cheese is quite tasty too ;)

Butcher - another cheesemonger. And a cockmonger too. Not forgetting him being a poxbottle.
