Without him and his brown paper bag, George Graham may never have been sacked... the likes of Hiller and Jensen may have bossed our midfield for years to come... Rioch wouldn't have been given the chance to not impress the Arsenal board... and, most importantly of all, David Dein may have missed out on signing Arsenal's legendary manager, Arsene Wenger. With, of course, the knock on effect being no doubles, no invincibles, no Henry, no Bendtner and no Wenger Out banner!

Just seen on BBC that Adams wasnt at the unveiling of his. Yet another kick in the teeth after the snub at the Wigan game in 2006.
Personally i would have suggested the idea to any living "legends" first and if they were unwilling to attend and show their gratitude offered it to somebody else.
The fact that Bergkamp isnt represented still astounds me and he would have been a far greater recipitent.
If the bloke left Gabala for family reasons, as was widely reported, then for all we know he may have other commitments that take priority over football any day...

With statues it is always going to be a talking point. All 3 are deserving of the honour. Probably would have bumped Chapman (because of the bust) and put in Wrighty or Dennis. Or even a George Armstrong.
Anyway, don't get the Adams beef. So what if he wasn't there? He's Arsenal through and through. That will never change.

What snub in 2006? Wasnt it established Pompey had a game that day also, and he couldnt get off work? The world doesnt revolve around this club.
