it looked a foul for the life of me anyone can tell me 100% it was a penner?

Too right. The ref was a complete fool and made loads of wrong decisions all night, for both teams. But fuck it, fuck him and fuck 'em all. We're on our way to Moscow!

Definite foul and I thought it was on the line of the penalty box, which would make it a penalty.

But, while the referee was utter shit for most of the game, I could sort of understand him not giving the foul - Hleb's swallow dive didn't help.

I have a feeling it will take another Talyor like tackle before we get a penalty again. Eboue might as well never enter the penalty area again coz he has no fucking hope of gettig a pen (his own stupid fault) but no it wasnt a pen coz the foul was made just outside the box.

On the line, definite foul. Therefore Penalty. Ref was a fucking disgrace all night. He got things wrong both ways and didn't play advantage when he should have.

I think it could have been a penalty. First Nesta kicked Hleb a little on the leg as he went to tackle and then his leg slided on the pitch and collided with Hleb, which caused the latter to fall. His reaction was a little dramatic, but the ref was wrong to give the yellow. You could see by Hleb's reaction when the ref gave him a yellow that he didn't dive at all

Hleb went down as though he had been shot

If he hadn't been so dramatic he would have avoided the card. The ref was still a *word censored* though as it was a definate foul.

Definate contact, definate foul, outside the box, but the way Hleb's upper body moved when he was felled did look a little suspect. Can see why the ref thought he dived but hey we won 2-0 so fuck it!
