Chippy reckons we're signing a striker

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

For what it is worth , on talksport the other night the German correspondent did say that Arsenal were in discussions with Podolski and a Borrussia Mut (u knw the one ) forward. So i wouldn't be surprised to see one as it is obvious that we need another forward.

Marco Reus. I have seen a couple of Gladbach's matches this season and he was outstanding (scored a hattrick against Bremen). An exciting prospect but is a bit light weight.

I honestly can't see Chamakh staying so for once I think we'll be in the market for a forward.

I don't think Podolksi is good enough. He's got a good record for Germany but he looked out of his depth during his time at Bayern.

I know he's probably better than Chamakh but seeing as though we need to spend wisely, I think it might be money wasted if he's going to cost more than 10M.

Podolski is a great player, he just hasn't found his 'club' so to speak. The rumour wont go away, so I'm sure there must be a lot of truth in it.

Chamakh has said he is considering a return to Bordeaux as he can't get in the side, not because the only thing he can hit the back of is a tranny's arse. Fine by me :barscarf: take Diaby and Coco with you then!

But Henry for like 3 weeks isnt as good as a reliable forward being signed.

Bobby Zamore is available, bring him in NOW
i would not be at all surprised if we put ina bid for Zamora

I just don't see Wenger being interested in someone like Zamora.
