I wet myself at the thought of finishing 4th, I want players like Chamakh, Arshavin, Diaby, Rosicky, Djourou, Squillaci, Almunia, Fabianski & Mannone playing for us on massive wages, I want no trophies in 7 years, I want to play 'attractive football', I want rid of Fabregas & Nasri to be replaced by a mediocre Everton player & a 17 year old from League 1.

Look at all of this, you would think I was Tottenham.

But no, I am an Arsene FC supporter. Have been since 1996

the times have changed since 2004

we are now up against 2 teams bankrolled by billionaires.
Ferguson managed to keep one of them at bay until now but it looks like he too has finally met his match with his neighbours.

so either we
1) get Usmanov on the board and bankroll us to glory too or
2) settle for Wenger getting us in the CL season after season or
3) bring in another manager who might make 2) every few years

I will settle for 2) for now.
1) is getting tempting though

Wenger has spent money, a decent amount. ON SHIT.

He has recoupped masses by selling QUALITY.

You might as well have settle for a Carling Cup run every season, we've more hope of winning that than the Champions League

The levels of mediocrity that you & unfortunately the majority of Arsenal fans will accept never ceases to amaze me

I am one of wenger's biggest critics, but if you think we should chase citeh for the title you are insane . This squad simply isn't good enough . I'm not saying I want us to finish behind the scum, but tonight that would be our best possible position . We can still catch them, and they have yet to play away at us, chelsea, citeh and liverpool.

what are you mentioning me with that wum for? I think some other people around here need to grow up if you want wenger gone so badly that you'd actively want chelsea to overtake us. 2004 was 7 years ago now, there are 20 games in the season left, lets hope we can stay above chelsea tonight , and beat citeh next week.

Thinking anyone can compete with city without money is foolish.

Chelsea have been left behind, and utd are in the process of being. Unless a club produces their own La Masia academy and still spends 100M we're not going to see City, Madrid or Barca closed down anytime soon.

Lets not forget PSG and Malaga who will now compete with Arsenal, Chelsea and UTD for players. They already took Pastore from Chelsea and Carzola from Us.

Kroenke is going to have to come up with a plan to invest or Usmanov is going to apply some pressure.
