come on
in the last few years Pompey, Cardiff, Brum, Millwall have made major finals
we could do that, then come up against somebody who chokes worse than us
(or the oppo keeper can get sent off early on)

something changes for you and so can your choker status

Barca were serial chokers till that final
if their goals are called offside we would have been level with them on European Cups

same as Zinedine Zidane - he was a well known choker in finals, until he scored a couple of headers from setpieces in one (played only OK)
then the narrative changed - so did his confidence and he scored probably the best all time cupfinal goal

my post is about how easily these things can turn around
if Barca hadn't won subsequent Europeaan Cups - and Zidane hadn't won further finals
they wouldn't really be great examples of that would they...?

See what you mean, but that Final did not lead to them winning more. They had a new wave of players lined up to come through anyway.
