As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
but I think it is ridiculous
a) Arsenal are charging normal prices for this game when in all likelihood we will play quite a few reserve players
b) Leeds United appear to have been allocated most of the lower tier Clock End.
why should they have access to cheaper tickets? A decent upper tier seat for this costs £50. What a joke for a Monday night in January. Luckily I have managed to secure a lower tier ticket for £35 but appear to be in the Junior Gunners section. Should be a laugh.
Fuckin' ell Red, wake up. FA Cup games are on the season ticket so it is always going to be full price. You think the 44k STH will be too chuffed if you reds got to buy 'em at knock-down prices? They shouldn't be part of the STH package but that's another matter.

I am aware of that but the Leeds fans appear to have taken away red member seats in the lower tier clock end where I usually go.
That is crazy. If the Leeds fans want to come to our stadium they should be made to pay for the privilege.

I've only been over to games this season that were bought on my friends silver membership. Is it gone that bad that red members can buy tickets for league games in the lower tier? Or when you say "usually", do you mean that you only go to CC games? Or, the more likely option, you're just talking bollocks?

I go to every CL and CC game plus several selected league and FA Cup games.
I boycott all category A games because although I could afford them I refuse to pay the prices that are charged. I would have made an exception for the Barcelona game last season but that didnt go to red members

If you have been in the lower tier with a red member ticket, I guess you are lucky. As far as I know it's very difficult for red members to get tickets for the lower tier.

I know plenty of reds who get in the lower tier no problem. As long as its not a Cat A game, you are quick and don't want more than 2 tickets together they say its fine. Also I'd imagine this season is easier than ever what with the economy and the fact the club has won fuck all in 6 years.

Okay. Apparently it's become easier then. I've been to the Emirates twice (last time in May 2010) and on both occasions the lower tier was already sold out when it went to Reds.
