Leeds FA Cup Match

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

am I right in thinking that there are 7 cup tickets on the season ticket?

if so then this must be number 5
CL qualifier
CL x3
FA Cup

if we keep getting home draws in the FA Cup then the club will rake it in with our CL games to come.

Correct. And the club gets rewarded for failure - not getting 3rd place last season, drawing away to Orient, have both cost season ticket holders a credit we would rather not have used.

why - your level of membership has nothing to your commitment/support to the club.

The ability to attend home or away games is dependant on a number of things: location disposable income, family commitments, work etc etc all which dicate what membership you have.

I presume (by virtue of the fact that you are on this forum) that you are an arsenal fan and thats plenty good enough for me.

but I think it is ridiculous ]a) Arsenal are charging normal prices for this game when in all likelihood we will play quite a few reserve players
b) Leeds United appear to have been allocated most of the lower tier Clock End.

why should they have access to cheaper tickets? A decent upper tier seat for this costs £50. What a joke for a Monday night in January. Luckily I have managed to secure a lower tier ticket for £35 but appear to be in the Junior Gunners section. Should be a laugh.
Have you contacted the club to complain?

Complaints email address is [email protected]

I feel too many just complain on here and do nothing rather than contacting the club who might actually make changes if they receive enough complaints. I'm not sure "Having a go" as you put it is the best way but if people continue buying tickets without complaint the club will assume the prices are justified.

To find out where you are on silver waiting list the number is 0844 277 3625, or there's an online form you can submit on arsenal.com... Don't get your hopes up though, I'm something like 42,500 on that list after 4 seasons!

At the Supporters Forum meeting with Gazidis on Saturday morning prior to the Everton fixture this question was asked of him to which he replied along the lines of the 19 League fixtures plus 6 additional Cat B/Cat A fixtures provide a guaranteed source of income to which they are able to charge cheaper ticket prices for the CC. I believe that reduced attendances at full price in FA fixtures e.g. 50,000 for Leeds would mean full price having to be charged in CC.

However, the Club are looking at a Home Credit system to reward fans who actually turn up to these fixtures.

No way people would pay full price for Carling Cup games. £50 to watch Arsenal B team vs Shrewsbury. You're havin' a laff

Why?

Sorry for my poor joke.

Red member in my context is referred to a forum member. Saying I'm him is an insult.

This is a good idea.
Does that mean those of us that attend every CC home match are in with a chance of going to the final?
