Citeh match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

for any Gooners going to the game on Sunday...perhaps it might be fun to take along a pair of girly pink flowery type panties with the name Nasri Goofy Dyke written in bold felt pen on them and if/when he's on the pitch wave eveyone wave them in the air - so the TV camera's see then throw them at the *word censored* :D :barscarf:

Any Fans interested in a safe, secure travelling arrangement from South Manchester to The Etihad Stadium tomorrow, please refer to the thread posted by your Editor under " Park and Ride option."

This is a genuine offer, due to increased size of the coach.
'Sensible' passengers please, and the Pub is on 729. Wilmslow Rd.
Didsbury M20 6WF. Easy access off M56 & M60.
The pub is opposite Gusto Restuarant & the Co.op.
We will leave the pub at 3.20pm.
Please ask for 'Whizzer' ...I'll probably be outside smoking with a notebook.

Cheers, for a good game.
Tony 'Whizz.'

Adebayor will not be partaking in this offer Whizzer.

Wow, to be honest City were diabolical after the first 20 mins of the Chelsea game...I was pretty shocked at how arrogantly passive they played, especially away against a team like Chelsea.

if City play anything like they did against Chelsea, even though its going to be at their place...I will have to revise my prediction from 5-1 to 3-1/2-1.

sorry boys, i wish i could say we'd win tomorrow, but im a miserable bastard when it comes to these big games...although it pays off when you get proved wrong. 8)

I'll quite happily settle for a point...even if we're 3 up in the 94th minute & we have the ball near their corner flag !!

Kompany or De Jong will kick RVP up in the air every chance they get.I just hope that he survives the game without an injury!!!

A point would be a realistic and good achievement. Most pleasing is the fact due to the turnaround in recent results I haven't totally written off our chances, a few weeks ago I would have been predicting a heavy defeat!

Same starting 11 as against everton, which looked like this

Szczesny, Djourou, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Song, Arteta, Ramsey, Gervinho, Walcott, Van Persie

If we're to have any chance today, theo and especially gervinho have got to take their chances, doubt we'll get many today
