Ox has tonnes more power and enough pace which would have been well suited for such a match so why isnt Wenger getting this guy involved...he has to start somewhere, but he hasnt even been given the chance. fat bastard time wasters like Arshavin get the nod for some strange reason.

Arsene certainly knows what he's doing, right guys?

Disgusted at Walcott's reaction at being subbed.

For once, can't argue with Babatunde's assessment (apart from the point about this run, a season is based on 38 games not just the big ones) disappointed as don't think there was that much in it and felt we deserved a draw.

People moan about Arshavin for showing no passion and then the very same moan at Walcott for showing he cares.

Do me a favour!

I can't be arsed to go into too much but a few things need to be said:

1. Gervinho. What an absolute fucking disgrace he is. The amount of times he had clear runners and never even saw them was untrue. A joke.

2. Mertesacker is all over the place. Horrendous.

3. Arsenal have now been comfortably beaten by Liverpool, Citeh, Spuds and Manure. Those who whack off after a run against the Wigans and Evertons of this world would do well to realise.

4. Arsenal for the first time under AW, have fuck all creativity. None. What distinguishes the great clubs from the average ones is that. It's a sad day when you look at Van der Vaart, who is often a sub at Spuds, and wish he played for us. Arsenal look like a glorified Villa.

5. Alex Thong. I'll say it again: LIABILITY. Braindead retard.

6. The defending. It will never improve under Wenger. A new manager is the answer.

7. Djourou. LOL.

8. I feel sorry for RVP. He must be going through the same nightmare Cesc went through. Top class yet surrounded by twats. He will go.

9. Why are some ppl "proud? Since when are Arsenal fans so positive about defeats? We lost because of a braindead "defensive midfielder" who does not understand how to show a man outside, and two defenders who could not get a basic line right. Add to that a useless sprinter in Walcott, total attacking lack of support for RVP and it's a bloody shambles. Nothing to be proud of.

10. Arsenal will not finish in the CL places. Arsene Wenger sold our best players in scandalous fashion. His mismanagement over summer has fucked us for the season. He was a joke over summer. He managed to spend £50 mil plus on players and somehow we look a far worse team. He banked more profits. We are a GK or RVP injury away from being a midtable farce.
Unacceptable.

11. Spuds wage bill is just £69 mil.
Arsenal over £115 mil. Yet Redknapp has that team challenging for the league. We are floundering. Wenger and Arsenal make £3 mil a he game in a 60,000 seater. Constant CL cash. Yet Redknapp has managed to build a serious team with far less resources at his disposal. Whilst keeping his best players. Wenger is the Cancer at Arsenal and needs to go in summer.
Fuck "waiting to see if he learns". Seven years is plenty. Diaby, Denilson et al picking up fat wages for nothing and the fans pay for this dross?

Please.
Long old post to do on a phone!

Did you take your laptop with you?

The performance today was alright... We were quite good defensively up until the goal they scored.
That formation is just useless, we have to buy a striker (and offload Chamakh who isn't a striker, he's just a fuckin' *word censored* dressed up as a footballer) to play alongside Van Persie. Gervinho is not a goalscorer but play him on the wing with TWO decent strikers and that could cause problems to any teams. Arshavin must be sold to the Russian Man City so that we can buy other players.
Anyway we've got to accept that we're not up there with the best, we have to go for it in the FA Cup and the CL (who knows we reached a final with a supposedly shit back four!).

Come on Arsenal!!!

You think that showed he cared?

He was non existent today, he got taken off because of it, its not all about protecting his image by keeping him on.

Fair enough, I saw it as him being petulant because he thought he didn't deserve to come off (which he did)

Surely percy a player who gives a fcuk puts in a shift and shows it whilst on the pitch and not when his arse has been dragged off ?? I dont think there can be any dispute that he has opinions way above his actual level of talent and that is one of the biggest hinderances to any potential improvement. I know that you have defended him on here in the past but wasnt that based on the fact that you believe he gets unfairly targetted rather than you actually believing that he is good enough ? A player at any level needs to maximise what skills they have and for walnut that has to be his pace and fitness so if he decides to fcuk about doing sweet fa then he is entitled to get hammered for it imo

Who knows what he was thinking, he may have been frustrtated that he had contributed so little?

Whatever, he at least showed some passion.

Too many players skulk off, head down and happy to be out of there. More so when they have had a bad game!

Do your research....it was very much a humorous, tongue-in-cheek comment, from his press conference this week

Martin tyler claimed today that wenger said that day (of barnet game) that yaya was completely average so would he say such a thing if wenger only made it up during the week ? :?

Sorry Augie, the comment was part of an interview with Wenger last week.

He explained the whole work permit situation and that they just wasn't sure what Yaya's best position was.

He mentioned in the one game he played he played in the second striker position and was completely average that day.

Being at that game I think Wenger was being kind to him as Yaya was shite!

As much as I think Wenger's time is done I do find it daft that people pick up on these throw away comments as if they are gospel.
