Good squad player for me, especially whilst we have the injuries we do.

Skilful, can pass and knows where the goal is. No idea how Roshitsky and Arsehavin get picked before him.

Also not a typical modern football ego. I say he deserves more opportunities.

Problem is; we get found out in February. We're out of the Carling Cup now but usually we have semis for that, the FA Cup, The League and the Champions League. To contend in all 4 you need players like Benayoun who can step up, rather than blooding a whole team of youngsters. Buy him, he's a good addition

In addition he does appear to be pleased to be at our club. very gracious and respectful on twitter etc - all in all a very good pro for some of the young uns to look up to and learn from.

Warming to him alot, he has been ignored by Wenger for far too long while several starters under perform.

He should really get a few games starting so we get a look at him. Ramsey and Gervinho really need to be benched quickly.

Chamberlain and Benny need to be given 90 minutes here and there to keep them ticking along.

Great character, good player, consistent, serious, fights hard every minute he plays, can't see why not keep the man.

i actually hope we sign him up, he is a decent back up player always puts loads of effort in and think every1 is way to negative of him for no reason

he has 3 goals this season which is prob 1 of the top scorers in the team and he harldy ever plays (and i am pretty sure this is more goals as Ramsey who plays every game)

how people like, Arshavin, Diaby and going on recent performances Gervinho are ahead of him is beond me

Yossi Bennayoun

Edit: plus the last 5 mins at villa when every1 was jumping up ans down together chanting his name was quality

I'd sign him as a squad player if the money was right. He is not a world beater but he is a better footballer than Song, Frimpong and Diaby, more intelligent than Chamakh and Gervinho and puts more in than Arshavings and Ramsey.

I know there are a few different positions mentioned there but if we can justify paying money to employ some of them then why not Benny?

I said yesterday in the Wayne Bridge thread that he's been a really good addition. As well as being a really lovely footballer to watch, his whole attitude is spot on. When he came out and said he understood why he wasn't in the team, absolute class from the guy.

Would like to see him in more. Ramsey has had a slight dip in recent weeks, maybe give the guy a rest and put Benni in his position.

Also the players seem to really like him.

Good to hear Banayoun's name being sung last night to the tune of the buck-toothed lesbian's ditty!

Slight correction. Other than that, very good.

Yep, like him and think we should keep him. Every time he plays he seems to give 100% and has some skills. Like Arteta for me, a good player who can gain from being at Arsenal whilst providing much needed experience to the team.

I was totally underwhelmed when we signed him on loan, but (whilst not setting the world alight) he has proved to be an improvement to the matchday squad.

Everytime I have seen him come off the bench he is clearly keen to be involved (take note AA23) putting in lots of running to be available to receive a pass and retains the ball very well, very rarely losing possession.

I'm not sure if he is good enough to start regularly but he has done his chances no harm with his performances and excellent attitude. As previously mentioned this can only be a good thing for younger players (that twat Frimpong for example) to learn from. He also showed his eye for goal with an excellent finish at Olympiacos. 3 goals now in 5 starts and 8 sub apperances.

Last night I was really pleased for Yossi to get such an important and winning goal and hear the fans singing his name. I can't imagine many of us would have predicted him scoring with a header from a corner!

Lots of games coming up so he may get a start in the league soon.

I think we should sign him - he has buckets of experience - a Very Good engine - knows how to find a pass and CAN score goals...which is more than can be said of arshavin, chamakh, diaby, squilacci and he actually Does Care...which is more than can be said for...aaah! deja vu......
