Villa Away 21/12/11 Match Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Wasn't a great performance, the lads looked tired I thought, maybe because they put so much in against city.

Expected to see abit of rotation and it wasn't untill the sub's were made that we looked abit better.

But still, who ever said we can't win ugly.

3 points will do me, great party atmosphere after the game and whilst walking out.

Na na na na Yossi!!

Was in lower tier 2nd row of Q2 last night. Fucking quality support and singing from our end even when we were behind. If only our away support was replicated at home our ground would be a fortress although Arshavin again couldn't be fucked to walk over and clap us at the end the lazy fucking twat!

You'll never replicate the away support at home - you have to be committed to travel away. Loads of day trippers at Emirates, some even videoing matches - what's that all about! Get behind the team!!!!

McLeish reckons the Arsenal player (Van Persie) conned Hutton into getting sent off. Thought therre would be more about Hutton's apparent spit on RVP , but obviously Hutton is an honest guy, not a bad bone etc etc..just like Taylor and Shawcross

I saw RVP wave a few times as Hutton left the pitch, he may have said something as well.
