Purple away shirts for next season!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

According to our Nike insider the purple is the purple in this training top he gave us. http://www.arsenalbrasil.com.br/wp-cont ... 122714.jpg

Yeah, it's that shit. Hopefully nike will see how bad it's going down with the gooners and will change it.

Where the fuck does purple come from? I want a yellow and blue away kit but if we were going for a total change from the norm id like to see us in a black away kit. :?

Apparently we were asked if we wanted one around the time united wore the first black kit and George Graham said he didnt want it as it would make it harder to motivate the players on a cold night up north, strange but true

The Brazilian guys were first to break the news of the current blue diagonal away shirt & the 125 shirt this time last year. Think they're to be trusted, I believe they have someone at work in the factory? Perhaps BG can tell us more...
I know about last year and I'm not saying I don't trust these guys. This news about purple in our home kit sounds too ridiculous to be true. As long as I haven't seen pictures of it, I'm hoping this information is incorrect.

that purple/red one at the beginning would be nice as a home shirt...why not? a bit useless as an away shirt since its still similar colour as our usual home shirts. i also think that black shirt shown by RioGooner would be a class away shirt.

that is a training top we've been begifted by our inside man. Unfortunately there won't be pictures as the kits stay in a vault and you just can't get them out of there or take photos. If you think about it, a picture would destroy their marketing strategy, which seems to be centred around Chapman.

oh fair enough. so have they at least given you any clues, like for example if both home and away will have purple in them etc?

I think it's a good idea to commemorate out 126th anniversary with a special limited edition shirt. Purple is really relevant to Arsenal because the pub in which Dial Square were formed had a purple carpet on the stairs down to the cellar

Next season however, i am told the yellow may make a comeback.
Lets bloody well hope so. They're supposed to be top marketing twats and they don't even realise they will sell more shirts if they just went back to yellow and blue. Simple!!
