Fuck it Im starting a transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Of course if we signed him wenger would probably play him on the wing, fans would bemoan his lack of influence on the game, many fans would slate him on the basis of him being a poor replacement for cesc even though those very fans c**t off cesc at every opportunity ( ), the player himself would become totally disillusioned with life at Arsenal and in 3 years time we will have done another wonderful job of turning a brilliant football into a lazy journeyman going through the motions   :banghead:
agreed to a point augie, but IF he's that good, we can always play song and arteta more defensively and give him freedom to go forward through the middle - don't forget cesc played a lot like that in his last season with us - wilshere and song did the dirty job and he had freedom to be wherever he wanted to give those fantastic through balls. now arteta's been doing the wilshere role.

we all complain that arshavin was never played on his best position, but the truth is that if his work rate was a bit better and he could actually bother to tackle and do some running, he could've been played on the cesc position. only reason he wasn't is his shameful work rate.

Arsene Wenger is contemplating a loan move for Manchester City's out-of-favour 31-year-old defender Wayne Bridge, despite denying having made an approach for the left-back in his pre-match news conference.

The Gunners are also ready to step up their interest in Brazil's 19-year-old midfielder Casemiro as his club Sao Paulo are reportedly ready to cash in with a £10m deal.

Or Arsenal will bid £23m for AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato, the 22-year-old having fallen down the pecking order somewhat this season.

Not ONE Single rumour they have ever printed has EVER come true....

Is it me, or am I the only one who thinks Pato is a tad overrated?
I have only really seen him in CL matches and against the Arsenal.

I admit to not watching any Italian football as I have recently taken up watching paint dry which is way more interesting.

He's good but he's very injury prone. He plays for a month and half and stays 2 out.

AND he's not that good. he is a decent striker with good pace, but i don't really rate him as a world class striker.

We Desparately Need a STRIKER and a CREATIVE Player who can unlock defences....

Wenger you are a Clueless C U N T and need to fuckoff NOW as does Pat Rice, while the likes of chamakh, arshavin, djourou, diaby, squillaci, rosicky, flappy and the waiter need to be put down and so ease our misery. :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:

I know I'm probably going to get shot down in flames here but we cant possibly find a striker even worse than Chamslack or Park.

Therefore I suggest Steven Fletcher as a possible target. Plays at a club fighting relegation and still manages to get himself in amongst the goals.Proven pedigree at both Burnley and at Wolves as a good PL player so might just add a bit of cutting edge and for once we could take the pressure off RVP.

He can't be any worse than the ones we have.

Shame Demba Ba is off to the African CoN as he'd probably be about £10-12million and I'm sure Mike Ashley's a bit like our board and wouldn't be able to resist turning a £12million profit on a player in 6mnths.

exactly...he has scored all types of goals so far this season and if you look at his movement its always straight into the penalty area, none of this hanging around on te edge of the box crap
