This is the thing which annoys me more than anything. Everyone thinks he can do no wrong, and yet it's obvious for all to see that Chamakh and Arshavin were the wrong options.

This game was absolutely crying out for someone like Oxlade Chamberlain, pace, confidence, ability to run at players and make things happen, and getting the crowd excited and the atmosphere going.

We see the same shit substitutions week in week out, the squad is becoming weaker and weaker and massive alarm bells should be ringing at the fact that RVP hasn't yet signed a new deal.

We don't even play good football anymore. Our football is boring. Wenger sits on the bench shaking his head, but come the window when he has the chance to sort the team out, he says this is the best squad he's ever had.

Even if you're not of the opinion that Wenger should be gone, how the fuck can people not even question the fact that Wenger got it wrong today (again!) with his decisions.

It's like the guy is completely untouchable. He's not held accountable, he says judge me in May, then when people attempt to question him it falls on deaf ears and there's some kind of media fucking blackout and all of a sudden the window has closed, we have a shitty season again and all the AKBs fall into line.

The difference in ambition.

Redknapp today:

"We've got to be a club looking to go places," he said in The Sun. "The potential is great here. We sell out every week, we've got good players.

"If we're going to make a signing, let's make one big signing. That would send out a message.''

Arsene Wenger on French television yesterday:

'At the moment we do not look to sign any players, we have plenty of players coming back and I am satisfied with the many options we have.'

Because you see, Spuds don't have returning players either do they? (Dawson, Huddlestone etc)....

Total Joke.

I was at that game at Craven Cottage last year and that chant was loud and fucking clear but unfortunately the match wasn't televised. Having said that, journalists did publish it and it did cause a stir.

Anything like that which actually becomes sustained will definitely be listened to.

Annoying thing is that Wenger is being serious. People say "well he'd hardly tell you if he wanted to sign someone", but I reckon he actually would. Every time the window opens he says our squad is strong blah blah, and we sign nobody!

it wont make any difference....'some distain shown by the arsenal fans' will be the only momintary mention it will get on MOTD. the only thing the press will latch onto is if we go on a long loosing run, not a shoddy draw at home to wolves. we are currently where we are expected to be based on squad-spend. only thing that will make them appoint a n new manager is if wenger gets run over by a drink driver on NYE.

Yeah but if we did it the next game it would be: "Arsenal fans' frustrations with boss Arsene Wenger intensified".

The next game would be: "Arsenal fans continue to call for Wenger's head after another home draw"

Radio shows would have gooners phoning in complaining about rising ticket prices - the highest in Europe - whilst squad investment is zero.

Journalists would ask questions of Stan Kroenke - "Is Wenger's position at the club becoming untenable? Do you have any intentions of lowering ticket prices bearing in mind your fans pay the highest prices in Europe and yet they see no return on their investment?"

Kroenke would say "we have faith in Arsene Wenger" but as soon as the stadium empties and the protests continue outside the ground, the bandwagon gathers pace, the newspapers continue publishing stories.

As soon as it hits ticket prices, Arsenal FC's advertising valuation and appeal, Arsenal's shareholder starts to fall, players start to leave in droves, there is nothing left to do but sack the manager to stop the slide.

It may sound like a fantasy land, but it's really not at all. Sustained protests from a majority of Arsenal fans and this is exactly what would happen.

he' not a stupid man, im sure he dosnt want the ridicule of drawing at home to the shit we have, its not wengers decision to spend IT IS PURELY THE BOARD, he could do something by adjusting the tactics but HE IS NOT ALLOWED TO SIGN ANY PLAYERS they want to pay the stadium off whilst interest rates are still low, which most economists reckon will last another year, he will spend enough to appease fans/sell merchandise and stay top 4, that is the remit. makes me laugh when people blame wenger for not spending, bit like saying i blame george osborne for not spending the governments money NOT HIS DECISION!!!!

For fuck sake, we can sit here and moan about Wenger on here all we like, until someone actually TAKES ACTION fuck all will happen and we'll go through the same shit until 2014 at least.

What we should be doing is:

- Getting banners into away grounds (not AG as the majority of attendees there are AKBs who would start singing Wenger's name once they saw it, making the board think the fans are nearly completely behind Wenger).

- Contacting the BSM, and not making it an anti-board protest because they're scared of the AKBs, fuck what the cultists think or say and make it an anti-Wenger one.

- More phone ins like the one a few months ago, and make sure all points that are said on here are mentioned and delivered properly.

All of the above will increase pressure on this bullshitting leech, the only reason he made the flurry of signings on deadline day was to actually save his job because he knew he'd be sacked if he did nothing. All he cares about is his 7M, he lies and says "this is the club of my life" and insults the fans and the club's history by lying every year saying he will do what he can when he knows full well all he will do is sign some French bargain bin midfielder to wipe the sweat off Diaby's head in the treatment room.

Action needs to be taken.

im in....but whilst there are 2 good results than 1 bad there will be no intensity, those same talksport phone ins will be dominated by - in neumerical order - villas boas struggling, torres not scoring, carroll needs more games, and how good fergie is. i was at the 'demonstration' / stroll at home to villa, and will be at any other demo's but you wont get many people going whilst we are on a winning run, then when we do draw/loose by the time it organised we will be 'back on track'

See you say that mate, and that was my way of thinking previously, but summer just gone is the one which really made me take notice. We needed a left back - Kieran Gibbs was never ever in a million years going to be fully fit for a season.

Everyone was saying why don't we sign Jose Enrique? Premier league left back, good quality, strong player and a decent defender with experience, only 25 years old so best years ahead of him.

Who does Jose Enrique sign for? Liverpool. How much? £6m.

Who did we get? Andre Santos, a "defender" from the Turkish League for £6.2m.

Then Wenger says they needed time to adapt?

That's not budget constraint, that's plain and simple mismanagement. There's nothing more to say.

Do you have anything to back this up?

Unless i am mistaken what you have said is factually incorrect. I recall PHW and Wenger saying that there are monies there to be spent.

I don't doubt for a second that the board (i.e. principally the Kronke vs Usmanov situation) is part of the problem but i am far from convinced about what you are saying.

yeah but fella look at WHEN they signed, enrique was right at the start of the TW and santos (who arsene views as a back up to gibbs) was signed 2 says before the TW closed when it was apparant gibbs was injured and wenger probably BEGGED for some funds...wenger masters in economics so understands the need for capital in these troubled times, just wished for once he would think like a coach and root cause what he needs and demand the the funds from the tight ass board to get it right, according to our board cant compete with man city/chelsea (wealthy benefactor), or man u a club that has assets business stratigies and install client base that means that all debts (nop matter how big) are sustainable. so 4th is ok and spend just enough to keep us there stratagy is going to be in place until stadium is paid off

Phil,

Go back to The Arches. You are talking total bullshit. I don't need to justify that statement. I just know for a fact that you are talking bollocks.

Goodbye.
