An Arsenal- Spuds Combined XI?
Ok folks, a bit of a painful question but there has been a lot of talk in recent years about who from the dirty lot would get in our team. Unfortunately at the moment, for me at least, its looking a bit dire.
Trying to be honest I would go with this
Szcesney
Santos
Vemaelen
Kaboul
Walker
Monkey boy (Bale)
Parker
Modric
Gervinho
Van Persie
Adebarndoor
I know its awful to have so many Spuds in the team but I am really struggling to come up with players at the Arsenal that have the required quality to go toe to toe with the scum.
Walcott suppose you could argue should get a place but I dont rate him to be honest.
What winds me up the most is that some of the Spuds players havent cost the Earth and yet they still seem to a level above some of ours (even those not mentioned in the XI)
Van Der Vaart- £8m
Parker- £5m
Kyle Walker- £6m
Bale- £6m

They've overspent for shite like Pavlwhathisname and Gomes also.Wengerball wrote:They bloody well shouldn't be- they have hardly broken the bank with their signings. We've spent money on players in the same price range so i think the comparison is fairtopgoon wrote:We should not be doing this, they're better than us just leave it at that.![]()

But meltedcheese has done a remarkable job for them.
Doesn't stop it being f'ing depressing though.
I suppose we had a good run, it was never going to last with the way things are being run at N5 these days
Still hope that twicthy c**t gets sent down

we want to achieve top 4 status with as small a outlay as possible and will only bid/make public interest last minute to pressure the selling club into a cheaper price, by that time all the good players are gone and there is also a risk you cant agree terms with your No1 target in time and have to find an alternative ANY alternative (ie benayoun)Wengerball wrote:They bloody well shouldn't be- they have hardly broken the bank with their signings.
