Demzy - Kenny Sansom last turned out for Arsenal nearly 20 years ago...

But enough of that. On to my team:

Seaman

Dixon
Adams
Keown
Winterburn

Pires
Vieira
Petit
Overmars

Henry
Bergkamp

I totally agree with that team Tony, with one exception: I would have WINTERBURN at left back and not Winderburn (who the feck is he? At least Kenny Sansom played for the Arsenal!)

Must admit,

I was about to write the same team that tonysaunders put down, well done fella, you beat me too it.

Trying to tweak it to allow Wrighty in, but who would you drop out Paddy, Petit, Pires, Marky Overmars, the legend DB10 and Thierry.

Fuckin hell, that really is a team and a half.

Quadruple anyone???????

HERES MY TEAM:

SEAMAN

DIXON ADAMS KEOWN WINTERBURN

PIRES VIEIRA OVERMARS

BERGKAMP

WRIGHT HENRY

NOW THAT'S WHAT YOU CALL AN ATTACKING TEAM :D .

ALTHOUGH PROBABLY NOT AS STRONG DEFENSIVELY AS OTHERS MENTIONED IN THIS THREAD, I RECKON THERE IS A FAIR CHANCE THAT MY SIDE WOULD OUT-SCORE ANY AND ALL OPPONENTS.

I've got to admit, it was a very close thing! He was ahead of Senderos (Blackburn F.A. Cup away, sorry to remind everyone) but just behind Pat Rice - at his current age and in his present condition!!

tenementfunster5,

You should know better! The criteria laid down is best Arsenal 11 over 'the past ten years' - better known as the 'Wenger Years'. :D

This would rule out Limpar (one of my all-time favourites) and Davis, and would probably bring Bouldie's nomination into question - seeming he hardly played under Wenger.

Great team selection but not eligible for inclusion in the prize draw, I'm afraid.

Would do you mean there is no prize draw? That's the only reason I entered this frigging competition!! WHAT??? It's not a competition? Then whats the bleeding point? Eh?

1.Seaman

2.Dixon 5.Campbell 6.Adams 3.Winterburn

11. Overmars 4.Vieira 17. Petit 7.Pires

10.Bergkamp 14.Henry

What a back four, what a central midfield, two wide men who could both score 15 goals a season and the dream front two. Unbeatable
