As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Chamakh isn't Morrocan, he's French who chose to play for Morocco because he couldn't be fucked to put the effort in for breaking into the French squad.
Sagna, Jenkinson, Gibbs and Wilshere will be like new signings when they return from injuries.
Let's face it, we won't get any significant new players in January. Although I would like to see the arrival of a left back (Baines) and a striker (not just Henry).
Realistically I do not see us getting anyone in January.
We already have the 17 "foreign" players in the 25 man squad. So unless someone like Almunia or Squillaci are removed then there isn't actually room for anyone whether it be Henry on loan or otherwise.
We'll no doubt muddle through January citing Sagna, Jenksy, Wilshere and Diaby as new signings when all the while VP is shouldering the entire burden up front.
I'd argue that getting Henry for 2 months solves nothing either. Purely because after he's gone, whether he makes any impact or not, we are back to where we are not for March-May with Chamakh and Park.
So to summarise I expect nothing to happen in January and for us to fall away from Spurs and Chelsea in the next 6 weeks.
