PDFC - PHIL DOWD FAT *word censored*

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Is this guy for real?

I can honestly say, if I saw him in the street, I'd slap him round the face!

Match of the Day pissed me right off again the other day, they said it had no bearing on the result, but wigan were only 1-0 down and playing quite well at about 40 minutes when the sending off occured.

Sure it would probably still have been 3 points for united, but it's allowed them to increase theirs and of course decrease Wigan's goal difference, which could have a big impact when teams are a point or two away from each other going into the last few games of the season.

Phil Dowd is trying to become the new Graham Poll. Just watch his facial expressions and gestures - its so flaming obvious that he wants the game to centre upon him, and probably loves making the headlines.

When the Newcastle game last year got back to 1-4, I was watching with my old man and actually predicted that Dowd want to be at the centre of some sort of miracle comeback. The decision against Koscielny for the penalty proved to me beyond any doubt that was the case when I watched it all again afterwards.

Sammon's sending off against the Mancs was yet another example. The most innocent coming together of players and he brandishes the card, Poll style, with an arrogant, pompous air about him as if to say to the players "I'm above you lot, don't talk to me"

I hate the fat *word censored* with a passion and hope that he gets fucking relegated after performances like this. Go back to refereeing some League One games and prick his ego

The refs should be irrelevant, we should not be losing a 4 goal lead.

Completely agree, but that game was dodgy. 2 non-penalties don't happen for no reason.

Don't disagree with the dodgy decisions but Diaby got himself sent off and we should be good enough to hold on to that lead regardless if the ref is looking to fuck us.

That game was just us all over, complete stupidity and panic, still can't believe it happened.

Agree on most of those but that 3-3 was a good match between two good teams playing well, draw was the right result. Sorry, now going to wash my mouth out...
