Wenger Out Banner

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Because the Club have said it will be taken down at home games. We also need numbers to get it up in the first place as the AKB will not take kindly to Dear Leader being asked to Foxtrot Oscar down the Holloway Road back to Totteridge (Pine Grove).

Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't it take 2 or 3 to get it out and up?
Not like its gonna be up for long anyway before the yellowcoats get it :?

SWL - can you get hold of a few Club Level tickets for Leeds a week today? I am lower tier and it's pointless doing it from there as it won't be seen.

PM me.

No point putting it up at the Leeds game - it'll be a Carling Cup type audience for that one, so it'll be "there's only one Arsene Wenger" all round

Wait till the Mancs give us a good dicking in 3 weeks time and we're six points off fourth place

There is about 20 supporters clubs telling SWL they are willing to fight for their 'Saint Arsene' or some other bullshit name they called him. I'm sure he'll correct me.

very disappointing result tonight, a win would have put us only 6 points off the top.I think the title is now beyond us but still have a good chance of winning the CL

Bren - stop stirring shit. I said we need numbers to put it up. I didn't say it wasn't going up because the Club were going to take it down.

Are you a bit dense? Or myopic, like Wenger?

Well lets be honest im not the one who spent money on a banner which i then made any excuse possible for not showing.

The banner was made when??? And yet you still havent managedto get numbers?

Doesnt that tell you something. About others and yourself.

I like the attempted wind-up, but I'll pass this time. Thanks for trying though. :D

I can quite believe it, hence the thread I've just set up. I would genuinely like to know what represents failure in the eyes of these people.

Remember that we destroyed 93 years of history to "compete with Europe's elite". We left our beloved old stadium as European CL runners-up, a year on from having won the FA Cup again, 2 years on from the invincibles and playing some of the most breathtaking football on the planet.

But now it seems that finishing top six has become acceptable to the majority - hence no appetite outside this forum for the banner

I find it remarkable

It is seriously like a cult. If you see some of the messages SWL gets its astounding. Sometimes I think they're (Pro Wenger) on a wind up but they are just deluded loyal servants of the *word censored*.
