First of all, I'm not 100% happy at what is going on at the club (probably closer to 60%). I do know that the Manager isn't perfect. I do cringe when I hear his post match press conferences..... But I just don't share the (majority) view that Wenger is to blame for all things from Global Warming to the recesssion!

Chesney could easily (and probably should) have been sent off at Chelsea almost certainly denying us 3 points. Even he admits it

I think we chose to feel aggreived when it happens to us.

As for the comment regarding City and the manager, would you expect them to be complaining about him when he just won them their first cup since 1976 and has them top of the league for the first time in 40 odd years?

Bit of a difference moaning about one defeat, and us having to listen to the same old shite for the umpteenth time in the umpteenth season. Have you read some of the post match gems from the GIC - could have been from a number of games over the past 5 years:

The referee had a massive influence on the game like that
We had the chances to kill the game off before that and to win
Nothing went for us from the referee today, nothing at all.

Perhaps if Man City fans were listening to Mancini tripping out that shite after six trophyless years they might be "moaning about the manager"......
Macini didn't wind Man City their first trophy. The £400 million of petrodollars won them the trophy.

Two facts, without the money

1) Mancini wouldn't be their manager
2) Man City wouldn't have won their first trophy in umpteen years.
And without David Dein, Wenger would not be our manager. Without Herbert Chapman we may never have become a major club in England.

Without Abramovich, Chelsea would be nowhere.
Whoever inherits the Man United job from Ferguson wouldn't be in such a wealthy, run club if it hadn't been for his achievements of the past 25 years.

And your point is what? Of course the money for City has played a major role. My point is that history has taken its course, Mancini is their manager and why would a City fan currently complain about the job he's doing?
I could understand some City fans questioning their Manager, after seeing them knocked out of the CL when in a very winnable group and then seeing them win only 3 of their last 7 league games. With the money they have spent, and other teams rebuilding, the fans know that this is their moment and they are in grave danger of f*cking it up!

And I guess you were saying that United are well run....? No they are not. Financially they are in a bad state and they have over relied on Ferguson for years. They could well implode when he finally goes, and would then need a Wenger type Manager to get them out of trouble!

From 1-0 up an crusing to being murdered all over the pitch in one easy team talk.

Although the game turned on Djourou's sending off, Fulham were murdering us 11 v 11 all through the second half.

Jesus christ Arsene what have you turned us into?
I honestly believe that what happened at half time was that the FACT that we had one days rest after playing on Saturday caught up with us. With that in mind then I would have been inclined to bring on Oxlade-Chamberlein..... albeit that he wasn't even on the bench. Maybe a strange decision that he wasn't when we had Squillaci and Miquel and surely we were never going to use both.

Wenger's mini revival is over, listening to the moaning bastard blaming the ref was painful. Pity his team of bottlers couldn't finish off 10 man Wolves
Fixtures will get tougher as the second half of the season progresses and the teams near the bottom are fighting for every point they can get. This is when Wenger's spineless basTards show their true colours.

Post by Herd »

I didnt hear much Wenger loving at all however i was still quaffing my 4.20p s worth of watered down carling when they resurfaced.

Appalling change of tactics, first half Fulham could hardly breath at the back second half we just gave up 2/3rds of the pitch .

Spend or slide ,its that simple !

:coffeespit: Never thought you'd miss the sweatshop.

Beer in a glass near a ground, that is good.

The piss in the ground must have been better

Watching Sky Sports News this Morning, the presenter and Alan Curbishly are at breaking point trying not to laugh at Wenger. Normally I would be pissed off by this accusing them of anti-Arsenal bias, but not today. If it wasn't so serious for Arsenal fans I would laugh too.
Can our manager do no better than rob a cliche from Mick MacCarthy ? Can he do no better than attempt to imitate a Dalglish press conference with stupid attempts at cryptic talk. Losing yesterday was awful, but Wenger's after-match interview and subsequent press conference were worse. If any of us ever doubted where this team is going under him then doubt no longer.
Did you see his "defiant " applause to the away fans after the game? Was he trying to give a "we're in this together " message ? Did he believe the fans were buying into his we were hard done by attitude ?
Arsenal for a few seasons now are never far from such a performance and such a defeat. We watch so called lesser players from so called lesser clubs give us lessons in commitment, and we don't react on or off the pitch.

No, he & the players fucked off down the tunnel pretty much before the ref had even finished blowing for FT.

Evening Standard

The Arsenal manager said: " I saw the red card coming you know, as when Kerim Frei came on the game was all about that - look for the second yellow on Djourou. The moment you get the first yellow they tried every time to get the second and the ref was naive enough to give it."

MY GOD. There is SO much wrong with this I don't know where to begin.

1. If AW is saying he knew Fulham were bringing on Frei to run at Djourou then, why not switch Djourou to left centre half, take the rubbish Mertesacker off and play Miquel wide?

2. If AW knew they were bringing Frei on to get Djourou sent off, WHY DID HE NOT SUB DJOUROU OFF? Admitting that he knew Frei was coming on for this, and doing fuck all about it is admitting he is negligent and incompetent.

3. Can you believe this? Wenger is moaning that an opposition manager made a tactical manoeuvre??! Jol was smart. He saw a tactical weakness and made a tactical substitution to exploit that weakness. Fulham won the game. What the fuck is this wanker moaning about then?
I wish we had a manager that could make tactical moves like that!
Instead we get Gervinho, who couldn't get at a full back on a deckchair if his life depended on it....

Wenger is an embarrassment.

No shit. But it gets better, he has the nerve to throw squillaci on to try and save what's left of the game. Hasn't Miquel been preferred over squillaci a handful of times this season? Hasn't Miquel also played at fullback and impressed there as well?! So why in a moment of despair and urgency was squillaci somehow preferred?!? He hasn't been trusted with any first team action all year in the league but for some reason throwing him on when we're a man down facing a bombardment is a good idea?!?! Fuck off Wenger!!!!!!!!!!!!!
