As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I presume that these are going fairly well given that they are not on GS yet?
Only the cynic in me thinks that by it being made fairly public that Henry II will have his 2nd debut, it may stick another few thousand on the gate?
Can anyone enlighten me?

The Arsenal board looking to make a few quid with something so cynical as playing Henry to sell tickets.
I can't believe anyone would suggest this!

It may speed up sales, but don't think we would have any problem selling out against Leeds even without Henry.
That said, it's a Monday night so difficult to see them bringing as many as last season.

The wording on the ticketing website is different from usual - it says "on sale to Arsenal supporters and members with a previous booking history", which implies that it won't go to general sale as Leeds fans would likely book them up en masse.

Leeds will bring their full allocation - they have excellent away support, especially as there is a good chance they will beat us!

Agreed, their support last year was some of the best I've seen from away fans at the Grove last year. Hope Henry slots 4 past them like in 2004.
