SteveO - was that the same game that The Russian took so seriously that he came off the bench with a hat on?

Imagine a player doing that to Fergie! - Would never play again.

Winning a trophy with Wenger nowadays is good as me winning the million dollar lottery

To be honest if its Chamakh or Park up front on their own, with a fleeting glimpse of Henry from the bench, then it won't matter if its Leeds United or Plymouth Argyle we're playing - we'll still make their two centre halves look like Moore and Beckenbauer and be treated to the GIC's "credit to them, they defended very well" afterwards.

Been offered yet another freebie to this one, but to be honest a late night at the office sounds more appealing
I may have to boo an Arsenal player for the first time in my life then.

Didn't quite have my mortgage on it - but it was enough to make them change it.

Next best is Leeds with a 2 goal start at 5/4 with Boyles
they haven't changed the price, still 8/15 with a 3 goal start but...

you're not taking into account the tie option

if we win 3-0 and you've got your mortgage on Leeds with chandler at +3 on the handicap you'll be homeless Monday nite - you've effectively backed em at 8/15 to keep it within 2 goals, i've seen far more insane 8/15 pokes than that one

likewise the boyles bet, you're effectively backing Leeds at 5/4 to avoid anything other than a single goal loss

We couldn't score more than one against the might of Everton, Wolves or QPR in our last few home games with our first 11, not a hope the stiffs will manage it next Monday. Plus chances of a clean sheet with Flappy in goal.....zero.

wasn't debating whether it was a good bet or not rodders, just pointing out that what AJAAFC said was slightly misleading.

I think - as much as I want the lazy midget gone - that he simply forgot he had it on...

I think i know what the problem with this forum is.

it is this
Nobody considers any other team other than Arsenal.
up until their last minute winner yesterday Leeds United had lost their last 3 league games. They are proper shit.

our reserve side is still much better than them

Leeds have more probs than we do at the moment. they have only won 1 of their last 4 (and lost the other 3) they have lost their best player Snodgrass out after an appendix op and had to call back Bruce from a loan spell as they had no fit defenders only for Kisnorbo (sp) and Bruce to then get injured in the last game.......

If we dont win this with our reserve team then Wenger should be hung

Get ready to go mental then, because even if we limp through rounds 3 and 4, history will repeat itself in round 5. We'll be back to CL action and with PL games against the Spuds and Mickeys in the same month.

So it'll be "super quality" up front on his own and a load of youngsters thrown to the wolves.

And it will be done in the name of squad rotation, even though we will already be out of the running for a top 4 place by then
