Great shot from Johnson that's the difference between him and walcott direct and lethal shot..
Adam Johnson: £6.5 mil from Boro.

Gervinho: £11.5 mil from Lille.

LMFAO.

Yep and remind me how much Joe Hart & Micah Richards cost again. And wasn't Kompany only on £30k per week when he signed

Still its all about the resources, thats all that matters
Nigel De Jong wants to leave Citeh because his current deal is still £30k per week and Mancini won;t offer him more than £70k!!!!

You hear? Nigel De Jong is earning 50% of Alex Thong's salary!

That would be the same Alex Song who was given a schooling by Zinedine Murphy and Steve 'Diego' Sidwell at Craven Cottage last night....

I would fcuking love to see de jong sign for Arsenal - this team is so devoid of a real physical presence in midfield it is embarassing watching our pussies getting walked all over game after game

But our Dench celebrity and self appointed hardman will be back next season. We wouldn't want to 'kill' him would we?

Surely he's done as much as Vela, Fabianski, Denilson and Bendtner to get the 5 year deal on £50k per week now hasn't he?

Yes but who would you replace Arsene with? Are you not aware there is not a single manager, ANYWHERE in the world who can do better than 6th with this current squad??

Certainly not that David Moyes - a man who transformed an Everton team that were in danger of going down under previous management, and who he steered to a CL place in 2005 - a more remarkable achievement in the PL than any other if we want to talk about resources.

He has less to spend than Newcastle, Stoke and even the likes of West Brom and Fulham, but watch him get them to the top 7 or 8 again, with a squad made up of loan signings, decent youngsters and a few bargains like Coleman. Fellaini was one of his only big money moves in years and is a quality player.

A latter day George Graham is Mr.Moyes - if a big club gave him a chance, I feel almost certain that he would achieve similar things to George

Agree and that's why he'll end up at Manure in about 2 seasons time.

Am I alone in not minding if United win tonight?

We're light years behind challenging Utd, and if anything I'd prefer them to win the League than City and certainly those *word censored* from the Lane, so not at all bothered if they win. Also I don't want Newcastle nicking our Europa League spot... :D

...how times have changed. It was virtually unthinkable to watch United games thinking anything other than "hope the bastards get stuffed" but now we don't compete I actually find myself wanting them to do better than the other title contenders

i prefer city to win the league. at least we can say "well, you can always buy the league with a few hundred million pounds, there's no remarkable feat in that". we all know they would never left midtable mediocrity with the occasional drop to the championship if it weren't their new billionaire owners.

man united on the other hand are a big club, a big rival, and a genuinely great team, one that we fought with for so many years. i hate to see them winning anything, as i'm obligated to acknowledge their greatness.

i started watching the arsenal at a time when we shat on the spurs' head time and time again, while man united always proved to be the great rivals when it comes to glories. i know i should be ashamed of that, but it ended up making me feel an anger for united that i don't feel for any other club.

obviously after visiting london and meeting some spurs' supporters that changed a good bit

I have no doubt with Howard Webb back in the team tonight they'll turn it round with a dodgy penalty or 2.

I want United to lose.

I fucking hate them. And would much rather City won the league. But I want to see City winning games to see the scum *word censored* nowhere near the top spot.

I hope Utd win, I can see City fucking up and the **** are far too close to both Man U and City for comfort, its important that both Man U and City win as many as possible to stop those **** *word censored* from winning it
