But a replay will at least give him the opportunity to moan about fixture congestion as another excuse for our own (and his own) miserable slide down the table

Yes because no Red Cafe member would want Leeds to win anything

I reckon an unimpressive 2-0 win. As bad as we have been lately can't see us losing, we will no doubt be seeing many of the players who have featured in the Carling Cup this season and hopefully with the likes of the Ox playing will have a go.

But this is Arsenal we are talking about so will wait and see!

We should beat leeds, but as soon as we get an away tie against anything from the championship or better, we will be out.
The second half season capitulation has started early this season.

I think we can put out a defence and midfield that is capable of dominating the play like we did for large chunks of the Beer Cup game against City

However, I'm presuming that Henry will either a) be unavailable or b) only fit to play a part role......which leaves us the same old, same old issue of no RvP = no goals from our forward line (a forward line of 1 striker again no doubt.....I mean heaven forbid we should play 2 at home to Championship Leeds)

And we'll have a useless tosser in goal too which means any speculative 30 yarders or set plays become a lottery

70% possession, a 1-1 draw, plenty of "credit to Leeds, they defended very well.....things did not go our way.......fixture congestion to blame"......victory on penalties in the replay

I'll go for a 2-1 win.

Was thinking the same thing when I was reading some shite someone wrote here about the season only being half over. I don't mind saying that the thought of the season being only half over coupled with the fact that the usual collapse has yet to come scared the bejaysus out of me  :banghead:

We certainly are not gonna win the cup or even get to Wembley so the only reason I've got any interest in this one is the prospect of seeing the Ox play again.

I predict this game will be the one to secure his 1st team place.

Don't see a win, think we'll draw. Just hope that The Ox plays really well and makes Walcock look shite.

Wenger - "We will hopefully have Chamakh available, [Ju-Young] Park available"

:coffeespit:

I hear Leeds want to forfeit, too afraid to travel.

I will for the first time ever have to boo an Arsenal player (Chamakh) on Monday night

he is quite clearly not good enough and I have had enough of him.
I will cheer when he is substituted.

Why boo him? He doesn't pick himself. Tbh the guy has hardly played this year, so I don't see what booing him does.

We'll win this. Once again people going slightly OTT on the criticism of the team. We're shit but we're better than fucking Leeds.

Yes we are better than Leeds but Chamakh isn't. I would rather have any strikers they have got than him. He is the worst player to ever wear the Arsenal shirt

Yes, we are better than Leeds. But you seem to forget that apart from half a dozen players injured, Wenger will also rest some players, such as RVP. So the team we put out will actually be a reserve team effectively. Leeds are no soft touches in big games and for these reasons, the best we can hope for is a draw, with a defeat quite a possibility.
I do think you'll see Wenger panic in the 2nd half and bring on RVP which will make a farce of the whole thing.
