As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Saw him last night and I relayed my concern for the Goetze signing and told my source how much stick I am getting..."he smiled and said.....
"you will have the last laugh, the signing is imminent"
Well, first of all I found it strange that you post this in an open forum. Everybody could post here and everybody could read it, so if Arsenal is closing in on an super hot deal why would anybody post that upfront in an online forum in the www
The entire timing does not make sense. Götze had an offer in November 2011 and he and the club refused to take it. Now the German back season is starting and Borussia is on second position just 3 points behind Bayern. Probably they will claim a CL place which is very doubtful for Arsenal and playing CL next season is one key argument for Götze. Besides that other managers are throwing more money and bigger contracts at him. Even if he would consider all these options there is still the club which has to release him and all the officials are telling that he will play also next season for Borussia especially after getting Marco Reus.
I don't think that the BVB officials are telling rubbish since the departure of Götze now would be an exceptional blast to the entire club. The only thing I can think of is that a contract is already signed and that for whatever reason nobody has lifted the truth, but why

just wanted to know how was rosicky in his time in dortmund? was he always injured like he is at arsenal? i remember soon after he arrived he was a class player, but injuries ended up taking that away from him a lot. how was he before??
Hi brazilianGOONER,
Rosicky (or as we call him with his Nick Name: Schnitzel due to his lean body...somebody told him to eat more meat) was super at his time with BVB and a lot of BVB supporters adore him still, actually I still have a CL jersey with his number and name. He was member of the squad which has won the national title 2002. The last game against Werder Bremen...BVB needed a win...Rosicky bottom left corner with the number 10 at 0:40...1:25..1:40..and at the end 2:35..I was in that stadium it just exploded. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjfm_LhZT4M one of the most memorable goals for BVB: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICODhkso ... re=related
Well we could not pay the wages Arsenal was throwing at him and so he left. When we played Arsenal in the champions’ league we thought that he maybe would play...but he was injured too.
mate, you should bet with him, it's always a good deal. [/quote]
Wow, that is a pretty good idea Maybe we should…
If Sammy is getting this right then I will get him over to a BVB game...travel, accommodation, ticket, drinks on me...if he is getting it wrong he has to invite me to an Arsenal game Sammy are you in
Cheers,
Thomas

i think i'm gonna start the "SammyAid", in order to raise funds and awareness to the poor sammy, a great bloke from onlinegooner who went homeless after losing all he had because of the goetze transfer
