To walk down the road with the *word censored* as an Arsenal fan is very poor form indeed.

The fact Arsenal fans saw him and didn't tell him the fucking turth that he is a fucking greedy *word censored* is a joke. What kind of fans are they?

Its not like he left, like Titi for example. Its not like he loved the club.

He's a *word censored* of the highest order and it should be told to him every day.

I agree with Quartz. Before he joined Arsenal 90% of fans wouldn't have ever heard from him. It's like if you join Arsenal you are bound for life with some of you. If that is the attitude no one will want to join us as they know they must love Arsenal with all their heart and soul and never leave no matter what contract is offered to them or they get abused for the rest of their lives! He left to a better side for more money. He was an employee of Arsenal for 3 years then left, the club means more to fans then to employees and we've got to accept that! It's not as if he stopped playing to force a move like Tevez and he could have refused to sign for anyone and got even more money on a Bosman when his contract expired.

I think he's a *word censored* for leaving us when we needed him but other than that I wouldn't waste my energy calling him a *word censored* to his face I'd rather cheer on the team

Not sure about that mate, like it or not, Nasri was one of the most promising young players in France, most people had heard of him.

The thing which grinds most people is the fact that no clubs were willing to take the chance with him. We picked him up and changed him from an average player with potential into a quality player (certainly in the first half of the season he was unplayable).

In addition to this, he quickly became a favourite. We used to sing his name all over the place.

He always came out and said he intended to sign a new contract, but not yet. A bit like what RVP is doing now in all honesty.

Then it became clear that he had absolutely no intention of signing a new deal and fucked off as soon as the big bucks came knocking.

What makes us angry is that we are the side who takes the risk with these players, and as soon as they become half decent they fuck off somewhere else like a bunch of mercenaries.

In addition to that, if you intend to leave, go and leave, don't fuck the club and the fans around with endless lies about your intentions and your affiliations.

I take the point on him saying he was going to sign but I don't recall ever seeing him physically say that (i could be wrong) but quotes saying that could ahve come from anywhere

My point is that he played for Marseille since he was 9 and left them for us so if anyone should be upset with him it is Marseille! We didn't care when we were the better team taking him away for what were then mega bucks to him. Sadly we are no longer considered one of the top 6-8 clubs in the world and therefore we have to accept players will pass through our hands onto better sides unless and until we show ambition enough to keep them

But what risk did we take with him?

He was, as you say, well known as a promising young player in France.
The risk was "Would he adapt to England?" but there was no argument whether he had skill and pace, that much could be seen from watching him with Marseille.

So it was not a major gamble.

He was never a hero to me or a favourite player, if anything he was a charmless "Grey Man" who had a brilliant half season out of three.

Over the last few years, there are players I have warmed to (Wilshere- one of our own from a young age, RvP - I did not like him two years ago but he has shown great professionalism and performances in the last two seasons, Sagna - not spectacular but gets on with the job and is hard as nails), but Nasri was not one of them.

I never pay much attention to what players "say".
Most of the time it is one of their agents or business managers who speak to the press on their behalf, and some of them also have ghost writers for their Twitter accounts.
