Bolton Away Date Changed

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Bolton Away Date Changed

Post by M-50 »

possibility of it being rescheduled WTF???????

We can now confirm that the following FA Cup 4th Round fixture will be played as under:

Arsenal v Aston Villa
FA Cup 4th Round
Sunday 29th January 2012
Kick Off: 4.00pm
Live on: ESPN

As a result of the above fixture there is a possibility that the Bolton Wanderers v Arsenal fixture scheduled for 31st January 2012, will be rescheduled. Should the game be rearranged, an update will be sent as soon as possible.

Arsenal Football Club

Booked flights 48 hours ago for €130 :banghead:

With just two weeks to go until kick-off surely they fucking realise everyone has already booked their travel and hotel if necessary and time off work :?:

sorry M-50 mate, thats just inconsiderate.

I was going to suggest getting a banner or flag made up for the villa FA Cup game. something in reference to the ten FA cups the club has won, to remind the players of who they're playing for :barscarf:

This. It's fucked up, nobody gives a shit about the fans these days. I had wanted to go to Bolton but couldn't get the afternoon off work. Train ticket wouldn't have been cheap for me so I woulda been out of pocket thanks to this, not as much as M-50 though. Hope the club or ESPN reimburse anyone who's been screwed over...

Reimbursed? You must be joking. There is zero chance of that happening.

The only reimbursement I will get is from myself by ruling out any further trips to see the club, which will likely be the case if I'm out of pocket for the second time in successive seasons

Fuck sake. Just booked my train, hotel and time off work today.

:banghead:

Fucking TV!!! But we're just fans after all. We're not the lifeblood of the game anymore. TV money is.

That's taking the piss. However it can't be moved to Wed imo because Blackburn are at home, so its likely to stay put. I hope for your sake it does.

Good shout there Chippy. Something to cling onto :)

I assume the club want it rescheduled for a later date so.

Nothing whatsoever on the Bolton official site about a possible change.

This is an absolute outrage, have fans with tickets been contacted (not likely)?

Just shows the contempt the club and these TV companies have for the proper supporters.

I mean, it would be too much to get the players to play twice in 3 days. They would be so tired!!

the more that get in touch with the club, radio phones ins etc the better
