1. When did you start supporting Arsenal and why?
Err...1985ish!?! Grew up in Islington and many friends at School were either Spurs or Arsenal. Not entirely sure why I chose to start following Arsenal!?!

2. When and aginst whom was your first game at Highbury?
However, I was hooked at my first game in 1986 Arsenal Vs Leicester. My uncle took my and sat in the East lower.

3. Which of the four stands at Highbury did you frequent regularly and why did you choose to stay there?
C/E - My other Uncle reguarly attended games and started taking me too. He was a Clocker ender and when I became old enough I choose the C/E too. Can't put my finger on it why I loved it there. Whether it be the banter with the away fans or standing at the back right enclosed under the boxes. Not sure but it's where my love of standing at football comes from.

4. Which venue was your first away ground following Arsenal?
Upton Park, I think!?

5. When did you first go to White Hart Lane for a NLD?
Never been.

6. Of the North West grounds which one was/is your favourite and why?
Anfield. Still one of the last old skool grounds remaining. Old Trafford don't count.

7. Of the North West grounds which one was/ is your least favourite and why?
Old Trafford.

8. Have you ever been hurt at an away ground and how badly?
No.

9. Have you ever travelled with the travel club and if so do you think its both value for money and time saving?
Yes, got tickets for the Cardiff finals and it was cheaper then train/coach, including the membership fee too.

10. Which of the old grounds that no longer exist do you miss (not including HIghbury)
Can't think!? Erm Plough Lane. Tried to get in once (1988 or 89) only to be told on the approach to the ground by a mounted officier to go home as the ground was full. Never got the chance after that.

11. How many cup finals have you attended with Arsenal playing?
5

12. Which one game stands out for you as the best for entertainment( not including cup finals or title winning matches)?
Probably Barca 2-1. Also in there has to be the Platt Man U win 3-2 and the Henry last minute header 2-1. The 2 goals in a minute against spurs.

13. Who for you is the greatest player to wear the shirt and why?
Adams, Henry has to be up there but I'd have to say Dennis.

14. If you saw your first game in the 1960s/1970s/1980s/1990s/2000s who was your hero for Arsenal?
Merse

15. Are the dark days of the mid 70s and early 80s being eclipsed by the current last five years for despair?
Slightly too young to apprechate. But given final league positions I doubt it. Arsenals just frustrating now knowing we can be miles better.

16. How much realistically do you think Arsenal need to spend to build a team capable of winning the title?
Not much. Just need to get rid of the dead wood. I'd say spending £30-40M on a few quality players.

17. Do you really think the departure of Harry Redknapp will change the fortunes of Tottenham to what we have come accustomed to?
yes

18. Do you blame Roman Abramovich for the decline of football and the financial restraints it has placed upon other clubs?
No - others to blame such as the Barca, Madrid as well as Citeh now.

19. Do you think once Wenger leaves Arsenal the club can return to the halycon days of the invincibles and who do you feel could take us there?
Yes - I certainly hope so. Not sure on who.

20. What one moment in Arsenal's history would you change and for what reason?
I was thinking along the lines of the Hiring of Edelman or Sacking of Dein but thinking simply.....Lehmans S/o against Barca but the winner is: Henry missing the simple chance late in the same game. We would have won the CL! :barscarf: :barscarf:
 :(

1. When did you start supporting Arsenal and why?

Not sure but there is a photo of me aged about 5 in an Arsenal top kicking a ball about on Streatham Common in about 1974 I'd guess. As to why I really have no idea as my Dad is a spud ! Thankfully he never tried to convert me. Living in SW London most of my mates were Liverpool fans (I wonder why)

2. When and aginst whom was your first game at Highbury?

1980 v Coventry a 2-2 draw, but it was on match of the day that night and I could pick myself out on tv in the lower corner of the North Bank

3. Which of the four stands at Highbury did you frequent regularly and why did you choose to stay there (for example i was a North Banker and because i loved to actually look at the big clock in the clock end)

I was usually a North Bank guy, occasionally clock end, (with a standing season ticket you could actually pick either) and migrated to the East Stand the year before the North Bank terrace went

4. Which venue was your first away ground following Arsenal?

I honestly can't remember but think it was either QPR or Norwich in about 1987

5. When did you first go to White Hart Lane for a NLD?
1988 i think, it was a 2-1 win (always was for a few season running)- think that was the blow up doll game, just after Pleat's exploits ?

6. Of the North West grounds which one was/is your favourite and why?

Everton's Goodison Park, a real old fashioned ground that had wooden seats and floors so you could make a real racket stamping / banging etc - It probably helps that it was my first far-away game in the Littlewoods cup semi which we won 1-0 (groves), then the next season we outplayed them comprehensively and won 3-1, so automatically have found memories of it.

7. Of the North West grounds which one was/ is your least favourite and why?
Bolton - just shit.

8. Have you ever been hurt at an away ground and how badly?

Punched at WHL in 1988 by a guy I didn't even see, as he lumped me from the side when walking back to underground (mind I was in colours with scarf around wrist etc, so was asking for it)

9. Have you ever travelled with the travel club and if so do you think its both value for money and time saving?
Used to all the time when I did a lot of away trips on my own, as wanted to be with fellow gooners, haven't used them for years as I hardly get to away matches now.

10. Which of the old grounds that no longer exist do you miss (not including HIghbury)

- Can't say I miss any of them really

11. How many cup finals have you attended with Arsenal playing?

1988 - Littlewoods v Luton , 1993 FA Cup + Replay V Sheff Wed , 1993 Coca Cola Cup v Sheff Wed, 1994 Cup Winners Cup final v Parma, 1995 Cup Winners Cup Final v Real Zaragoza ,1998 FA Cup Final v Newcastle, 2001 FA Cup v Liverpool, 2002 FA Cup v Chelsea, 2003 FA Cup v Southampton, 2006 Champions League v Barca, 2011 League Cup v Birmingham

12. Which one game stands out for you as the best for entertainment( not including cup finals or title winning matches)?

Last Day of the season v Southampton Wright hat trick to grab goalden boot on last day for the North Bank

13. Who for you is the greatest player to wear the shirt and why?
Henry - could beat a team all on his own.

14. If you saw your first game in the 1960s/1970s/1980s/1990s/2000s who was your hero for Arsenal?

Initially Brady, then Sansom.

15. Are the dark days of the mid 70s and early 80s being eclipsed by the current last five years for despair?

No, as we are still one of the better teams in the league - but it's more frustrating knowing that it wouldn't take much to make us real contenders again but realising that it ain't going to happen with the current board / manager

16 How much realistically do you think Arsenal need to spend to build a team capable of winning the title?

£30 - 40 million outlay (after getting shot of a few not good enough) on 2 / 3 key players to make us top drawer again.

17. Do you really think the departure of Harry Redknapp will change the fortunes of Tottenham to what we have come accustomed to?

They are having their day in the sun at the moment, 50 years of mediocrity won't go overnight.

18. Do you blame Roman Abramovich for the decline of football and the financial restraints it has placed upon other clubs?

Not really, Jack Walker bought the title for Blackburn sadly. before Roman did, SKY money has corrupted even the most traditional clubs

19. Do you think once Wenger leaves Arsenal the club can return to the halycon days of the invincibles and who do you feel could take us there?

I'm not sure the Invincibles will ever be seen again, as Manager I'd love Gardiola but don't think it will ever happen.

20. What one moment in Arsenal's history would you change and for what reason?

I would change Bergkamps penalty in the 1999 FA Cup semi - if we won that match I think not only would we have won the double double but may have gone on to even greater things as it was it took us 4 years to recover.

19. Do you think once Wenger leaves Arsenal the club can return to the halycon days of the invincibles and who do you feel could take us there?

20. What one moment in Arsenal's history would you change and for what reason?

Lehmann's sending off in the CL final. We probably would have won it.

1. My Grandad was a massive fan. His Dad took him to his first game prior to WW1 when we were still south of the river. My Dad was a not very keen Palace fan, so lucky escape there.

2. First game Liverpool mid-60s. Not sure of year or score. I think it was 0-0 but the whole experience was a bit overwhelming when you're 5 or 6.

3. Always the North Bank.

4. Upton Park. First time I ever saw us play.

5. Never been to Shite Hart Lane. Could never get a ticket.

6. Liked Maine Road. Used to admire the Citeh fans.

7. Hated Anfield. Their fans were always (pre-Heysel) portrayed as friendly cheeky chappies. I spent most of my first visit dodging darts.

8. Been chased a few times but never hurt following us (I was a fast runner). Got a bit of a kicking at Oxford whilst following Gillingham.

9. Never been with any travel club, ever!

10. I liked Maine Road. Always felt like you were driving through Beirut but the atmosphere was decent.

11. I saw the two Wednesday wins.

12. Sticking 5 past the Scum with Chippy, Rix etc in their prime.

13. TH14 was superhuman, but when God sends his only son Dennis to Earth to wear the No.10 he has to be considered the best.

14. George Armstrong was my first hero. When I was first picked for my Junior school team my Dad bought me my first Arsenal shirt with Geordie's number. I wish I still had it.

15.Mid-70s were terrible but I never felt the hurt of missed opportunities like we suffered last season.

16. We need 2 fullbacks, a wide player and a striker minimum. 50 mil might do it. However, the title will be unlikely in the near future because if we spend 100 mil, Chelski will spend 150 and Citeh will spend 500.

17. When Harry goes the Scum will sink down with the rest of the pondlife.

18. Rich men have always tried to buy success, but they were invariably long-term supporters. Abramovich's purchase was vanity and started a horrible trend.

19. When AW goes it will probably get worse before it gets better unless we can attract Guardiola or similiar.

20. It's probably too trite to say winning the CL final. I'd settle for Jens not getting sent off and then seeing how we got on.
