Fuck it Im starting a transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Our full back crisis is over :barscarf:

Arsenal have taken Omani international, Saad Suhail, on a week’s trial. The 24 year old defender has 25 caps with Oman

Real Zaragoza say they've failed to sign an unnamed Arsenal player, thought to be Squillaci, because of 'economic reasons'.

The 'economic problems' Zaragoza refer to are probably Squillaci's massive wages. Same with Almunia, Arsenal will struggle to offload.
Well there's a fucking surprise! :banghead:

That'll be the defensive cover that the GIC was talking about- taking cheap to a new level.

All over twitter that we've had an 8 million bid for Cissokho accepted and he's having a medical as we speak. Not yet confirmed.

Sounds like a Wenger signing but don't know whether to believe this above the other 2000 rumours.

For fucks sake :banghead:

Skybet's odds of us signing Wayne Bridge have moved from 7-1 to 1-3

Let's hope the bookies have got this one wrong

Can't see it happening with Cissokho because signing him would mean getting rid of one of Gibbs or Santos. We'll only take a left back on loan I reckon.

I agree and I don't see us getting rid of either Gibbs or Santos to be honest.

Bridge on loan is the best we can hope for me thinks.
