Wenger Out Banner

Okay guys, enough talking about it. Get that banner out for Man Utd now, this has gone on long enough! Today was an utter disgrace...

We were told these words by Gazidis last June:

"Arsene is ultimately accountable to the fans - they ultimately make judgment. If you are seeing the relationship between the fans and the manager break down over time that is unsustainable"

I say now is the time to show that we want Wenger out. Fuck what other people think, get that fucking banner up, get pressure on the board and pressure on Wenger. Let's make a stand, let's prove that we are not a minority and that the time has come where the fans want Wenger gone. Step one is a sign that the relationship between manager and fans is broken. All those that want him gone need to make it clear. Hankies are used in Spain, let's get that banner up and get some black scarves waving. Let's bombard the club with Wenger out letters this week, let's get ourselves heard because I have had enough of that clueless mug running our team. The board need to know that confidence in Wenger is blown. Banner up, scarves out and voices heard or nothing will happen.

The BSM shouldn't be getting involved in calling for the managers head, they are on record as stating that policy. Doing so would suit the clubs agenda of splitting the fans amongst themselves.

So get Wenger out now, £43 million a year less wage bill than the Twitchy *word censored*, is enough reason for me, they will have 6 points this season from us

However it's time for the Wenger Out viewpoint to make itself heard, if there is a demo or protest count me in :barscarf:

Time to put up of shut up lads!!!

I am of the opinion that, if you want Wenger out this summer, then the banner needs to be displayed now. Pressure needs to be applied early to get the ball rolling. Displaying it on the last day of the season will achieve nothing that summer. Pressure needs to start building and it needs to happen now.

For what it's worth, I believe that the problem at our club is much bigger than just Wenger - although he is not blameless in all of this.

I agree, the banner needs to be displayed now, Im not sure why it hasnt been shown before now, but reading other threads perhaps there is a valid reason. However theres no point in showing it just the once, it needs to be shown at as many games as possible between now and the end of the season.

Yeah agree with this. Getting Wenger out is a short sighted solution, the board will just employ another yes man. People dreaming of Ancelotti or Guardiola can dream on.

Demun210 wrote:Any banner should be made directed at the board....even if Wenger left, you wouldnt see some radical change in the policy of how the team is built. I know these days it's all the rage to blame the manager (and I readily accept that as a manager Wenger has his faults with tactics/team selection etc), but the issue is bigger than Wenger. I don't think if Wenger left you'd see the changes you want to see at Arsenal, and for that reason I think it's worth having a think about who you're aiming your message at.
Much as I disagree with the majority of Demun's posts, I agree with this. Honestly, Wenger goes - then what? In fact, getting rid of Wenger makes the board's position stronger, which in the long run could make the situation even worse.
