the only ray of hope is that Kroenke takes action when we fail to qualify for CL, and that's now a certainty for me. This will hopefully reduce fans into the stadium making their business model look obsolete.

Shez played well, but his positioning for Graham's goal was very poor.

Defensively we looked all over the shop. A lot of this caused by constantly giving the ball away in midfield and inviting pressure onto us, but Miquel was often caught out of position. Mertesacker still needs to adapt to the pace of this league and Djourou looks woeful. You can't defend with one defender, Kos on the whole had a decent game. We need Santos, Gibbs, Vermaelen and Sagna back asap.

In midfield we just looked woeful today with our passing. On at least 4 occasions Song must have missed an Arsenal player by 20 yards with a simple pass. He is now trying to play passes like the one he played for Henry on Monday all the time, when a simple pass will do. Arshavin was poor from about the 10th minute when he was moved back onto the left wing from the central position he had adopted. Benayoun was anonymous for the majority of the game. I didn't think Ramsey played as badly as others made out (The penalty wasn't a pen, Arshavin's ball through to him for their 2nd was poor) but he still lost the ball to easily. Walcott is a luxury we cannot afford and would make an ideal "supersub".

I also thought RvP was very lax, especially in the 2nd half.

We need 2-3 players in January as a minimum (not including Henry) but I fear we are not going to get them

I have fully supported Baba's right to have a say on this forum, but I also believe it should be restricted to his view of the game and the club. His constant rude insults of other posters isn't acceptable.
McDowell (his choice for this game) has supported Arsenal easily as long as Babatunde and shouldn't be derided for his comments.

Swansea are a better footballing side than we are, especially when they are without possession.

It was a brilliant performance from the home side which was helped by no back-up plan from us, not for the first time this season.

Best home fans in the Premier League too. What had they, 17,000 home fans? and they made ten times more noise than the 50,000+ we got.

Furious that we lost today's game but thought we played well. Should have got something out of it. Swansea can count themselves fortunate to get the penalty (proved in replays that it should have been free kick and booking against them!) and I thought their winner was, marginally, offside.

We were caught in possession too often and I thought Ramsey tried too hard, although understandable given the opposition.

So please, stop on this Wenger out bollocks on this particular thread. Nothing happened today that made those calls any more justified. And to the person - a long way from here - who said that this was Arsenal's worst ever performance.....you can't have seen us play much!
