SWANSEA AWAY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Just seen his interview on Sky Sports and he at least had the bollocks to admit we made schoolboy errors!

7 away this season and we have conceeded more goals than anyone else...........no other club would find this acceptable.

Sholud of been openly honest about that kind of performance 5 years ago instead of bull excuses that the players can hide behind. Tick Tock

When Fergie blanks the press after a bad day for ManUre he is called a classless, graceless bastard.
So after today, Wenger is...????

No class. Spineless manager, spineless players, spineless fans.

You utter, utter, cretinous C**T Wenger.

Oh and to any of the braindead fuckwits round here who are so stupid they celebrate Spuds stretching their lead over us by a point (hi McDowell, Red Member), you can piss off too.

Sooner this club gets rid of Loser fans like you, the sooner Arsenal will be great again.
That's an idiotic comment.

We don't all have to bow down at Harry's altar and pretend to ***** him off like a catholic choirboy. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion
erm no, he's actually spot on and just as much entitled to voice his own opinion as anyone else here. however you and others are more than entitled to delude yourselves. what Babs has said is justified and shows what small-minded fans we have.

Well said Babs, hit em where it hurts lad
I have fully supported Baba's right to have a say on this forum, but I also believe it should be restricted to his view of the game and the club. His constant rude insults of other posters isn't acceptable.
McDowell (his choice for this game) has supported Arsenal easily as long as Babatunde and shouldn't be derided for his comments.
Debate is about questioning/challenging each others opinions not each other, because at the end of the day we are all Arsenal fans and we are all entitled to be
you doughnut....this IS debate, one person view against another, if it involves naming a few characters to prove a point so be it.

Swansea were excellent and deserved to win. They played with a cutting edge and a workrate that Arsenal don't have. We're not going to qualify for the CL.

Course he's classless. Gormless. A washed up has been. I cringe every time he does his retarded penguin impression flapping his hands in his oversized jacket at the fourth official. Sack the *word censored* tonight.

Don't know how anyone can defend anything about our performance. So what if it wasn't a penalty! We should never have allowed them to go 2-1 up!!!!!

We gave the ball away twice in our own half and allowed them to score, one of those chances being just 40 seconds after we fucking scored! At one point they had a 7-0 advantage on corner kicks! SHIT!!!!

Wenger and Kroenke Out. Both fucking this club up the arse in different ways. My Scum supporting mate asked for us to do them a favour next week against United. This is how far we have sunk.

Our midfield was diabolical today, really really poor, particularly Ramsey and Song, constantly caught in, or giving away possession. Worst of all, Wenger didn't do anything about it for over an hour and then brings on Roshitsky? That superbly creative, Goal scoring midfielder of ours.
Every time Djourou is challenged on the ball, he just turns his back and tries to shield it - watch him! He shouldn't be at the club he is so shit!

So many things wrong with Arsenal FC and so many are the fault of Arsene Wenger. I've said it before and I'll say it till I'm blue in the face, this man is destroying Arsenal.
Pathetic man management
Pathetic tactical decisions
Pathetic squad management
Pathetic training methods
Pathetic transfer dealings
Wenger - a poor poor excuse for a football manager, will fuck Arsenal over then leave.

I really don't wanna pick a fight now, but Babatunde makes ense....well loads of sense.......funny that I agree with him/her. I'm fucking depressed.........I had resolved to stop the drinking but now just came back from the off licence with a few whiskeys & its almost inevitable I will lose a few working hours recovering from a mother of all hangovers.

Its all Wenger's fault. He is taking me on a horror emotional trip. What the fuck were those muppets doing today? Shit....fucking ....shit. Wenger said this is arguably the best team he's assembled. If its so then the invincbles were a fluke & what we are getting today is his level. SHIIIT. get teh French turnip out.....nobody is indispensible

What do you mean "so what...."? If they hadn't got that penalty we'd have gone in at half time 1-0 up. Big difference! If they hadn't got that penalty the game would have been a draw.... Chances are that the game turned on that decision, so please don't give me the "so what...." bollocks.

Also - we are currently missing Wilshere, Arteta, Sagna, Gibbs, Jenkinson, Vermaelen, Santos.... plus one or two others.... to injury and no team in the country could afford to lose that many (5 defenders!) and still perform to the best of their ability!

There are many reasons to be unhappy about Arsenal at the moment - but today's performance, given the injury crisis, isn't one of them!

Thank f*ck I didn't renew my ST and give there greedy b@stards any more of my money.

Thank f*ck I got invited to a party and didn't have to depress myself watching unacceptable, sub-standard, totally frustrating football again.

AW really cannot hide behind any more pathetic excuse. Time to man up or f*ck off.

The smokescreen of signing a past legend has cleared and we can clearly see the sh1t situation AW has created.

Get the protests going.

As percy has already said it is an absolutely shocking and embarassing statistic that nobody, and I mean nobody, has conceded more goals than this Arsenal team this season

On the flip side of that I would like to remind people how the first few months of the 97/98 season went - we were shipping goals all over the place and the straw that broke the camel's back was the 3-1 defeat to blackburn at highbury. After that game TA6 and the defence went balistic at the lack of protection from PV4 and petit and a change of policy was implimented........can anybody see something similar happening now ? Does anybody really believe that we have a DM worthy of the name and capable of protecting a back 4 ? Song is an excuse of a football and typifies the old "pay peanuts get monkeys" saying cos I wouldnt have him playing DM for any top championship side much less a top half, champs league club

MK Gould wrote:Furious that we lost today's game but thought we played well. Should have got something out of it. Swansea can count themselves fortunate to get the penalty (proved in replays that it should have been free kick and booking against them!) and I thought their winner was, marginally, offside.

We were caught in possession too often and I thought Ramsey tried too hard, although understandable given the opposition.

So please, stop on this Wenger out bollocks on this particular thread. Nothing happened today that made those calls any more justified. And to the person - a long way from here - who said that this was Arsenal's worst ever performance.....you can't have seen us play much!

Lets keep this thread for discussion of a match we were probably a little unlucky to lose and keep talk of banners, protests and Wenger out to the numerous existing threads....!

PS we'd have fantastic support if we were in a 20,000 capacity stadium. And we'd spend most of our time in the football league, exactly as Swansea do..... Please don't congratulate them for that!
your a poor POOR excuse of a fan.....if you really think this than you might as well go and support barnet
