Henry after tonights game

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Look I want Wenger and Gazidis out and I hate about half of this team but why the fuck are people having a pop at Henry? The guy is a legend and it isn't his fault we're in the mess we're in. It saddens me that our allegedly brilliant away fans weren't calling for Wengers head rather than abusing someone who isn't at fault. I just hope it was a tiny pocket rather than a larger number. :banghead:

People are pissed off and anyone in eyesight will get theirs. Henry deserves better but at the end of the day him and his team mates are on a good salary to produce some average fair. What is scaring people the most is that nothing looks like improving year on year so tensions are boiling over at anyone and everything.

From what I could gather TH12 reacted to abuse directed at Theo.
Shouldn't have got involved IMO and shouldn't be telling fans who've invested bucketloads of time and cash to travel and watch this shite what to think or do.
Bad move on his part but I suppose he was pissed off too.

Papers are quoting Henry as saying he was just asking a fan to be supportive rather than critical. He said the fan wasn't abusive to him.
Calm down dears!!

Not keen on Henry being abused, but the facts are there.

Wengers last 3 January signings, Lehman, Campbell & Henry.

Just about sums up our ambition that we let them go then call them back to sell a few thousand extra tickets (Blackburn - "The Legend Returns").

Henry may sell a few shirts, but suggesting that it's a cynical ploy by the club is without foundation......

Especially when Park has already done so

Our away fans were not as good as normal today 2 reasons -

1 - Not much to cheer

2- They are fucking loud with that cunting drum too and their club have the good sense to put their loudest next to the away fans

We are excellent away 90% of the time one bad day at the office and some going over the top here - did you drive 4 hours each way today in the freezing cold to watch non trying overpaid wankers ?

Only an utter *word censored* of an "Arsenal fan" would be giving Henry abuse today. I see the usual morons on here have started, its disgraceful.

Henry is useful for finishing, and in the dressing room nothing else, we all know it, but to *word censored* off our greatest player ever after two games back.

Has to be a new low for this forum and our support.

No-one cunted off Henry at the game. I still stand by my view that he'd have helped us out more by declining Wenger's offer.

Wenger would have had to buy a striker.
