As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
My only remaining tix for the season are this one and the scum. I am pretty sure I haven't seen us (live) lose 2 on the trot since the 70s. Always a first time for everything though.
I don't think I've felt this pessimistic about a game since the 70s.
We went to Old Trafford with novices at fullback, against a Utd whose strength is on the wings, so did AW plan cover for them. No, he did the fucking opposite and we got shafted.
I believe we can outpass them and if Arteta and TV are fit I think we could win if we keep it tight and hit them on the break, but AW won't change his tactics and I fear we'll be humiliated.
AW's stubborness, in tactics, the transfer market and with support for shit players is the straw that has broken the back of any sympathy I had for him.
We will lose, I don't think we will be humilliated but will lose all the same. The only upside to our current form or lack of, is that we will not only miss out on the Champions League position but with any luck, will also avoid the Europa League as well.

I'd rather we were in the UEFA Cup than nothing at all.
- It's more Arsenal games, and I would prefer to watch a Arsenal play twice a week than once.
- It's a trophy we could win... although, after the Birmingham fiasco, I'd expect us to bottle it no matter who we played in the final.
- New European destinations to visit.
And anyway, as we'd use our wonderful squad players in most games, it would hardly distract us from the Premier League, so fuck it... bring it on
At this moment in time, more Arsenal games is a negative, not a positive. It is frequently the low point of my week and is followed by comments about how shit we are on Facebook, work etc.
Europa league would be unbearable and could even keep that wanker in job; "We have shown unbelievable spirit to overcome the odds and remain in Europe"!!!!! I would personally throttle him and any remaining AKBs if he came out with this.

What??? Even this shite reincarnation of something loosely resembling a team?
Personally I couldn't wait for this season to be over back at the end of August, once I knew little was going to change, because I could see where we were heading and can barely stomach watching us 'play' once a week, never mind twice!!

This ^^^
Watching this team has become so boring and frustrating, once a week is plenty at the moment.

The only game I have looked forward to this season was the Leeds game, just to see TH in an Arsenal shirt then close my eyes and reminisce, thank christ he made it special by scoring.
It will be the one and only highlight of this shit season. And that's no matter what fucking happens on Sunday.
