Vermaelen is more important than Van Persie

Vermaelen is more important than Van Persie

Post by Red Member »

Vermaelen has not played in 5 of our 7 league defeats this season

the only ones he played in were v Liverpool and Man City

I hope he returns for next week...

this isn't a bite but.

But you reckon our team is better off with verm than RVP. We become defensively better [not by much] but then rely on the finishing of Theo, Arshavin and Gervinho. How many goals do you think we'll score??

We are undefeated in games that Abou Diaby has played in this season, so I reckon he's our most important player, possibly of all time.

It's vital he gets back ASAP

i actually see ur point, i actually dread either of them missing a game as both are the most important team members by miles,

vermaelen is 1 of the best defenders i have seen who puts 110% into winning every ball, and RVP just cant stop scoring,

at least 1 of em signed a new contract so far :D

Almunia has conceeded the fewest Premier League goals out of all our 'keepers so I suggest we play him Sunday.

Ju Young Park, never been on the losing side in a Premier League match. I'm starting to think we could get revenge on the 8-2 at this rate.

10 nil Arsenal? :barscarf:

luckily Vermaelen has signed a long term contract :barscarf:

RVP hasn't though and it is unlikely that he will be here next season.
I therefore think we should sell him at his maximum price which would be now. why wait for him to get injured again?

We think alike.

Fancy meeting for a beer in the North Bank before the AC Milan game?

Well normally I would be steaming straight in here, you're right SteveO, but when I looked at the thread starter I decided to give it a miss.

However should it still be floating about on page 1 when I'm next on the razz I'll be happy to chip in with a few thoughts. 8)
