As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Brought this back due to the fact there were some very interesting answers.

I am happy for any other mod to lock this (odds on it being my mate M-50 lol) but I think that as fans it's nice to read others views and give those who haven't added their thoughts the chance.

About 1991 (I was only about 4 or 5!)
2. When and aginst whom was your first game at Highbury?
Blackburn 1997 - Drew 1 - 1 - Ray Parlour get elbowed in the face in injury time, Ref called a corner not free kick? They went an equalised from it. :banghead:
3. Which of the four stands at Highbury did you frequent regularly and why did you choose to stay there (for example i was a North Banker and because i loved to actually look at the big clock in the clock end)
North Bank - because I loved the atmosphere
4. Which venue was your first away ground following Arsenal?
Old Trafford
5. When did you first go to White Hart Lane for a NLD?
Only been once .......erm 2008 carling cup semi not a very nice memory!!!
6. Of the North West grounds which one was/is your favourite and why?
Old Trafford - Because of the We love You Arsenal lock in!!! :lol:

Wigan - Only been to OT and DW up their!!

Bruised my shin celebrating at old trafford :censored: :censored: Plastic seats with no :censored: between rows

Never travelled with club.

Not been to enough away games to give a decent opinion

None - Can never get a bloody ticket!
12. Which one game stands out for you as the best for entertainment( not including cup finals or title winning matches)?
Liverpool at home, unbeaten season, henry hat-trick. I was front row upper tier north bank, right behind the net, when Henrys 3rd went in the red bar across the front of the stand was shaking!! Never Heard Highbury that loud before!! Amazing just talking about it!!
13. Who for you is the greatest player to wear the shirt and why?
Henry, his skill was sublime and he loved us as much as we loved him.
14. If you saw your first game in the 1960s/1970s/1980s/ ??1990s/2000s who was your hero for Arsenal?
David Seaman - I always wanted to be a goalie!!
15. Are the dark days of the mid 70s and early 80s being eclipsed by the current last five years for despair?
I'm only 24
16. How much realistically do you think Arsenal need to spend to build a team capable of winning the title?
£50m + To win the league we've got to seriously improve the quality of the sqaud.
17. Do you really think the departure of Harry Redknapp will change the fortunes of Tottenham to what we have come accustomed to?
Yes - The exit door will be wide open when Harry goes for all the big european fish to come and have their feed! :lol:
18. Do you blame Roman Abramovich for the decline of football and the financial restraints it has placed upon other clubs?
Not really, if it wasn't red rom then it would have been someone else.
19. Do you think once Wenger leaves Arsenal the club can return to the halycon days of the invincibles and who do you feel could take us there?
Yes not immdiatley but most certainly yes - I would love to see the donkey take the hotseat!!
20. What one moment in Arsenal's history would you change and for what reason?
2006 CL Final - because we deserved to win that night.
