Almunia

Gibbs
Squillaci
Djourou
Hoyte*

Denilson
Diaby
Rosicky

Vela
Chamakh
Bendtner

Mannone
Fabianski
Arshavin
Park
Botelho
Lansbury*
Watt*

* - I was filling spaces but that's be honest they are not that young anymore so if they were good enough they'd be playing by now. There only still on the books because they are young, English and products of Arsenal = £££
You have Diaby in the starting line-up and not even a squad space for fucking Alex Song :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
I'd make Diaby captain of this sorry lot and also include Walcott.
Out of curiosity, who'd you replace Walnutt with?
I suppose he'd have to go on the bench somewhere as even he's not as shit as most of that starting 11.
There no place on the bench.
Come on man! Have some balls who you gonna remove?!

This was why Theo & Song didn't make the cut. Worrying isn't it! :banghead:

There has to be a place for Walcott, probably one of the most overrated players ever to play football.

i would usually say threads like this are rubbish and every supporter of every team out there thinks he can do an XI of shit players currently at their club, but this time i think it makes sense. our biggest problem IS the ammount of shit players we can't offload because of our stupid wage policy and extreme belief on them from the manager.

not even the manager trusts almunia, mannone, squilacci, park to play in the premier league, even if for a few minutes. even with his severe blindness, he probably realised by now that diaby, gibbs and rosicky cannot be relied upon because of their injury proneness and that chamakh, arshavin, vela and denilson can't provide the goods.

if you remove the ones out on loan, we still have seven players who the manager won't play either because they're never fit or are too shite. that means the 25 players squad becomes an 18 player squad, therefore some players have no proper replacements on the bench and will obviously get injured at one point or another due to being overplayed (arteta just happened, now waiting for koscielny and rvp). more injuries, the worse the situation gets. it's a neverending cycle. also, having so few 'useful' players limits our choices to change our tactics during a game (under wenger?   ) or start matches against different teams with different approaches, another problem we have.

we need a major rebuild. AGAIN.

Who are our useful players?

Szczesny
Vermaelen
Koscielny
Sagna
Mertesacker
Santos
Jenkinson
Song
Arteta
Wilshere
Ramsey
Coquelin
Gervinho
Ox
Arshavin (when arsed)
van Persie

16 players max! LOL.

17 if you include Benayoun.

Good squad player and better than Rosicky.

Good post.
It was the only reason why I did it. As you say everyone could do a shit XI but with us I reckon nearly all of them are available for transfer as they can't be trusted.

A point I was going to raise which you half hit on was I'd love to know (or do I :? ) how much in wages is being spunked away each week in that lot? To start there's About £120k between Bendtner and Diaby alone! That's a De Jong if you like.

Get rid of the lazy Russian umpa-lumpa!
Songs taking the full use of the word 'Useful'.

Jenkinson, Yes keep him but is too early to say but I think he's way out he's depth at Arsenal. Nothing wrong with the fella as you can't not love commitment and attitude.

i would add benayoun, who is a decent option for the bench (nothing more) and djourou. yeah, i know he's shite, but i think he's good enough to be our 4th choice as centreback. it's the kind of player you expect to see only when many injuries appear or in league cup games, so i'm cool with him.

don't forget that having a super 4th choice player means huge wages to someone who won't likely play most of times.

oh, but now i remember that we pay top money to those players as well :suicide:

I hate to tell ya but Eboue, Cygan, Stepanovs, Merida & Jeffers have since left the club. But I take your point as it's as if they've never left.

harsh on merida, left the club when he was 18 or 19... and made some decent performances. we had much much worse midfielders in wenger's reign.

there's bischoff for example!

I assume you're biaising this to Wenger, otherwise - no place for Augustus Ceaser, or Jimmy Carter in that XI ?

let alone Hillier, morrow, hughes, helder, kiwomya,

if it is just wenger, surely Kaba Diawara has to partner Jeffers up front ????

you could add swiss tony in there too !

Getting this back on track this team is comprised of current players. If you want an all time worst team or Wenger's worst team then create your own thread.
