Wenger Out Banner

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Things have gone too far in the wrong direction for the last 6 years. We need change. The protest will be held right outside the stadium. On the roundabout in front of the main entrance and Arsenal official store. Starting at 3pm before the 4pm Man united game on Sunday 22nd. Spread the word to all the facebook, twitter and blog 'Sack Arsene Wenger' Sites and the black Scarf movement and the 'We W...ant our Arsenal back' Brigade. All the groups will unite for a common cause. Bring your scarves and banners etc we will vent our distaste for how the club has been taking its fans for granted. This is a great club and we have a history to preserve. We cannot sit by and watch these guys drive us into the abyss.
Youve definately got a platform now SWL

If a protest were to happen, especially with one banner you need people who can handle themselves and not be worried about getting a few slaps. Fair play to SWL for arranging it, but I thought SWL had an avatar of him in a replica shirt at the Nou Camp not so long ago?
I don't think this is SWL. (?)
Surely he'd drum up support from here?
Sorry, I pictured SWL early 20s, not much of him, close to being ginger.

Please lock this thread. It's become a laughing stock even though I wanted to see the fucker months back.

Now is the perfect time. The fans are pissed, the team is playing like absolute *****, there is momentum now. Time to strike.

Lock this thread its a fucking embarrassment.

Every week we hear its going to be shown the next game. It was supposed to be shown today, and it was the perfect opportunity the crowd were giving Wenger plenty of stick.

i agree either get the banner out or burn the bastard thing, what are you waiting for.

even Henry has realised Arsenal are not the same when he left and has cried off sick for the next 5 weeks, he will play one more for the last 15 minute as a farewell

To be fair, you don't know it wasn't taken to the game today, so it's probably best to wait for them to post an update.

In any case, it's their banner, so it's their decision, I suppose- and if someone else wanted to get a banner made, I'm sure SWL and co. wouldn't object.

I suspect it wasnt shown today since they didnt show it the 20 other matches so far this season, and if it was shown it probably would have been caught by the cameras.

Its embarrassing because they have a near 100 page thread on the forum about a banner they are too afraid to show. And because the "updates" as you call them conclude of it will be shown "in the next few matches."

We were told it was going to be shown again today and it clearly wasnt, so why not just lock this thread and burn the banner instead of continuing to make false promises.

If there was ever a game to show it, it was today. But they bottled it.

Seen the "In Arsene we Trust" banner just after Wenger made the cock-up by taking off our best player and reducing the team to 10 men by bringing on Arseshavin.

It was posted in the Manure thread that a "wenger out" banner went up in Block 12.
Also posted somewhere that there was a protest outside the armoury.
